Location

Too warm, long hallways, no help for disability, bed too firm. Young, active people are probably happy here.

The restaurant and bar were an asset to the facility. The free shuttle anywhere you needed to go in and around Aspen was a plus!

It is run down and needs to be refurbished!

The location was nice and we could ski right to our door. The front desk staff was great!

The pillows have to be the most uncomfortable pillows I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. We even tried removing the pillows and stuffing sweaters in the pillow cases. It was awful. The hotel is very dated/ dingy/ popcorn ceiling etc. Also, the walls are paper thin and we heard every word our neighbors were saying. Another disappointment was after one quick knock on the door, the cleaning crew walked in our room at 9:12 in the morning when we were laying in bed. Thankfully we were awake but couldn’t believe they just walked in. Seriously, for $700/night, you would think they could afford some updating and seriously…those pillows. We would not stay here again.

I liked everything besides the two things I listed below.

All rooms aren’t updated like shown on their website and third party websites. Bathroom was dripping water from the ceiling after showering.

It was very mice and the restaurant was delicious

Room mates next door were noisy

Although a little way out of Aspen the complementary bus service was very well run and wait times short.

Unfortunately the restaurant which is right by the hotel entrance is separately run from the hotel. The hotel itself will parable appeal to a wide variety of people, but unless you like Mexican food and barbecued meat in an american sports bar environment, the restaurant is unlikely to appeal as much. And that means a trip to town to eat.
