The hotel has a good location and helpful front desk staff. The elevator worked and the room was as described.

I used to live in Lake Jackson when the hotel had a good reputation. I was so disappointed to find a construction site upon arrival. Nothing prepared me for the demolition and condition of the parking lot, entrance, lobby and the entire 1st floor. Since I had prepaid 5 nights at the full rate I was surprised to face such a mess. I am a frequent traveler and am accustomed to reduced maid service but after 3 nights, my trash cans were full, the complimentary coffee not replaced and dirty towels building up. I asked the front desk and was informed that maid service is once a week only for stays for a week or longer. She suggested that I bring my dirty towels to the front desk and pick up clean ones if needed. In my opinion, this is not appropriate when paying over $130 per night in a small city hotel!

clean, had a small area to buy a few things, borrowing cabinet that has crockpots, games, dvds and other things. bucees is right next door

only mini annoyance was to drive around the neighborhood when coming back or taking u turn from highway. no side road to and from a block up or down

It was very clean and quiet during the night despite some road noise. The A/C worked very well, the shower water pressure was great, pillows and blankets were comfy, the mattress was a bit hard for me but my husband liked it.

There was some road noise due to to it's location near a major highway. The noise of other guests letting their doors slam woke me up a couple of times in the early morning.
