We left at 8am in the morning and when we returned at around 12am our room door was WIDE OPEN. I went to the front desk and was told I must have left it open when I left that morning. IMPOSSIBLE. About ten minutes later someone came to the door and said it was open because it was scheduled to be cleaned. Even though upon check in I SPECIFICALLY DECLINED room cleanings and put the do not disturb sign on the outside of the door (it was laying on the floor by the door Inside the room when we returned). I told the receptionist who checked me in I didn’t want anyone in our room while we were out. I had already gotten a weird vibe from housekeeping (they’d stop what they were doing and watch our every move. To and from the car, to the lobby for juice.” Like literally just STARE Us down) which prompted me to be sure to take everything of significant value with us everytime we left. Being that there is A HUGE HOMELESS POPULATION IN THE AREA THIS WAS AN IMMEDIATE NO. Leaving Our Room Door Open For Hours Is UNACCEPTABLE. I Would Not Return And I Would Not Recommend. Ps We Were On The 1st Floor About 4 Rooms Down From The Office They Could Look Right Out The Window Into Our Room. There’s No Way That Our Room Sat Open For 16 Hours &They Didn’t Notice. Oh &Their Excuse Saying It Was Opened Because It Was Supposed To Be Cleaned. A Lie It Wasn’t Cleaned Or Even Attempted to be cleaned. No made beds, no fresh towels, no anything. Trash cans weren’t emptied. Nothing. Only thing different is our stuff was gone through and moved around. There wasn’t anything missing. Because as I stated we took all electronics, jewelry, money, bags etc with us. There was no apology or attempt to remedy the situation.

The staff was helpful to change our room with a broken a/c unit

The place was run down!! Threadbare sheets, blankets! Threadbare towels! No place to hang hand towel. Broken toilet handle. Worn out furniture holes in the carpet!! How can booking.com show an 8.3 rating for this place!

Centrally located with comfortable, clean rooms. Free parking was a big plus. Good breakfast with lots of options and super helpful/friendly staff. Emmanuel at the front desk was exceptional!
