The staff was friendly
The room smelled like paint …. It seemed new works happened and it had a strong smell of paint all night.

The property re-opened two weeks back and is a beautiful setting. It is a beautiful property and the staff was very nice.
I paid full retail for a suite and was never told that two restaurants and the spa would not re-open until September. This is why I rated this so poor on value This is unacceptable for a Ritz. This is the most I have paid for a three night stay and got half of the amenities!!! Also, the front desk would never answer the phone when called. Another unacceptable characteristic for a Ritz.

The Ritz's staff deserve commendation for their exceptional friendliness and professionalism. From the bartenders to the food service staff, everyone demonstrated a dedication to outstanding customer service. Despite some areas of the resort being under renovation, the operational bars and restaurants did not disappoint, providing excellent food in an inviting ambiance.
Despite minor inconveniences, our stay was generally enjoyable, with the resort's physical service quality proving commendable. It was clear that the staff were making the best of the transition period after the hurricane, which contributed positively to our experience.
The Ritz, with its reputation for excellence, delivered a largely satisfying stay, and its physical services lived up to our high expectations.
There were a few technical issues, such as inoperative room phones and malfunctioning televisions, which were somewhat disruptive. Our final night was marred by an unfortunate room service experience, where the food arrived after an excessive delay and was of poor quality, particularly the undercooked flatbread.
The most significant shortcoming, however, was the Ritz's subpar online communication. Despite several attempts to contact them through different digital platforms, including Booking.com, a provided email, and the Marriott Bonvoy app, all went unanswered. This necessitated resorting to a phone call to address queries, a surprisingly antiquated approach for a prestigious corporation like Marriott in the digital age.
The lack of responsiveness could have been cause for cancellation and points to a need for significant improvement in their digital communication strategy.

Breakfast and staff are the greatest assets. Being in the middle of a renovation & construction was not. Noise starting before 7am some days
When I complained about the noise staff told me that I was informed through an email. Yes I received it but never thought that behind the harmless email would hide the construction noise and annoyance. Ritz is Ritz in terms of quality and service but the construction aspect did not allow us to have proper rest and fully enjoy the facilities

There was construction work at the hotel the coastal view was half of that and an ugly building in construction with all the machines etc , the receptionist said it is in the hotel page but obviously not in yours
You don’t want to stay in hotel which is in construction or repairing half of it, it is horrendous the noise the view etc

The hotel was under renovation. Had I known that, I would not have chosen to stay there. I have stayed here before, and had invited at friend. The restaurants were closed and it was disapponting.

Great area on the beach. Restaurants and bars were nice. Part of building was under construction with some amenities not in use.

Food was good. Service was good. Beach was beautiful Stinks you allow smokers it was very disturbing to sit out there and have that in my face.
We stayed on the 6th it smelled like mildew in the hallways. A lot was not available due to renovations and we paid full price. Smoking allowed on the beach.

As usual the staff was excellent at all levels.
We found out about the on going construction on the site after booking the room. A simple e mail was sent the day of arrival with no cancellation allowed. I would have liked to have know about the construction before hand in order to make an educated decision. After all their prices didn’t change for food or room. I paid $3,500 for 2 nights with construction noise every day. I just think the Ritz Carlton should keep their guest informed. My wife and have been customers for over 30 years.

Site was clean, staff was five star, breakfast bar was delicious!! Room was clean, love Nespresso in the room. Excellent view, saw a dolphin :O)

Nice on the beach.
The staff was rude, sarcastic. The pool was under construction, yes they let me know after I booked and there is no cancellation so that was not acceptable.

Great property. Location was perfect.
Rooms were very small and the balconies were even smaller. Room rates were triple during spring break and the food and drinks were twice as high as average.

the room had an amazing view of the beach. the gym is one of the best I've ever seen. and the restaurants at the hotel were great!
