Well cared for and clean!

Location was good, helena isn't too big! Breakfast was a typical hotel fare, nothing special.

Breakfast was good. Oatmeal was not HOT, but ok. Good selection

My white quilt had a 3-4 inch round pinkish stain….little doubt what went on there…obviously had not been changed between guests, and should have been. I called the front desk and she had me come to the front desk to get a freshly laundered quilt. Also had an extremely sour smell in the bathroom . I think it was a shower curtain that needed laundering. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

The only plus to this entire visit to the Hampton Inn was that continental breakfast started at 6a.

The room. Smelled terrible like stale cigarettes. The bed sheets were wrinkled and looked as though they were either unwashed or never folded and just shoved away in a closet. There was smoke residue on ceiling and windows. The first night my kids had to sleep with out pillows and had one thin blanket. Because the hotel ran out of bedding. The refrigerator didn't work and the freezer part was completely covered in freezer burn. Couldn't put anything in the freezer tray. The air conditioner didn't work. When it was on mildew smell came from it. After 10 min it would shut off. The room was hot and stinky our entire visit. The pool was disgusting had flakes of skin floating , you could see a film Over the top of the pool. The hot tub was cold temp was below 98 degrees both times.

Breakfast was very good. Staff was great. Room was very clean.

The only thing I didn't like was the harsh lighting. You could perform surgery here.

I liked how the front desk staff actually asked us what floor we would like - I have never been asked that before.

the air freshener in the common areas was pretty strong especially in the lobby

it was comfortable and staff were all helpful. as usual at Hampton, the king bed was very nice. the breakfast was ok, although selection was a bit limited.

waited for a luggage cart, although not a problem.
