Room was listed and charged as a suite but was actually no more than just a hotel room with king bed and a hide-away sofa. No kitchenette facilities. No separate bedroom like normal suites.

Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast options were very good. All staff were pleasant and welcoming.
Shower pressure was great!, assist bar good idea, those tubs can be slick!
Shabby suite furniture really downgraded the room. It was stained, worn out and broken. For such a nice updated room with a great bed, I would suggest you get rid of the suite room furniture. YUCK! The toilet stool was the shortest you can buy so very difficult for old people to get up and down comfortably. Toilet paper and kleenex-both felt like razor blades. Who even still buys 1-ply paper goods? You have to use a lot of it to feel clean. We were there early spring and windows had not been cleaned outside yet so winter dirt and grime were still apparent. I assume they will be cleaned later in the season.

Didn’t eat much but there was a good selection. Liked the biscuits and gravy, eggs and coffee.

The TV didn't work and we were sent a text that said if we needed anything to let them know, which I did and received a text back saying someone would address our issue shortly. They never did. When I told the front desk at checkout, they said they don't send texts and that it must have been from corporate. They never offered a discount on the room.

Location
NONE of the outlets worked on the lamps we had to pull out furniture to charge electronic devices. The outlet in the bathroom did not work. There was a pile of nasty used papertowels stuffed under the cushions in the pull out couch, makes me wonder how well anythng had been cleaned. I ask for a shower chair when i made the reservations, was told at check-in there was none available. When we ask for pillows for the pull out couch again, was told none were available. We got ours from the cat...😕. The pool was being drained due to a chemical issue....Overall many glitches with our stay. Will go back to the Drury Inn.

The property overall was nice! The staff were lovely to deal with.
Our room had a funny smell, almost like old cedar. A very strange scent to immediately walk into. The mini fridge did not work, so our leftovers had to be thrown away. The beds were on the firmer side, and we just prefer a softer mattress. I kept finding long, black hairs around the room. That caused it to feel not properly cleaned. Nothing bad enough to keep me from staying in the hotel again, but just things to take note of.
