Location was perfect. Only 7 mins away from where I had to be. In and out access was perfect.
I originally paid for my 2 day stay online. Upon arrival front desk made me pay AGAIN and cancelled my original online reservation/payment. Cancellation and reinbursement take DAYS to show back in my account. Never did I ever have an issue like this before. 4 days prior to this reservation I stayed at San Diego La Quinta and they didnt have to cancell my online payment.
Great customer service came from night manager/front desk clerk.

Price and location
The property was overall run down and dirty. The front desk manager was not friendly. Our room had been remodeled and the quality of the finish work was extremely bad.

Elevator was not working correctly. Halls and common areas were dirty. Has older furniture.

Breakfast needs more fruit options and healthy options. No good restaurants near property.
Room was near elevator so heard that during the night.

The driveway was steep. The power went out and was out for several hours with no update. My room smelt awful. The smoke detector was just hanging from the wires.

Location
The bed was horribly uncomfortable. We cut our trip a day short because we couldn’t stay another night in the room. Used bar soap left in the shower.

Pubic hair left on toilet, no towel bar or hooks, bathtub faucet loose, dirty floor boards, smoke detector missing, TV not working, breakfast bar a mess and not well stocked, way overpriced.

The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful getting my reservation switched over at last minute notice because I had accidentally booked the wrong date. Rooms were clean and comfy, pool and hottub were nice. Breakfast was decent.

It was clean.
Sounded like Bigfoot was staying in the room above us, stomping around. Poorly constructed building, could hear everything all night long. Noisy people being loud late at night, doors slamming, trashy people staying there.

the only thing was was that room smelled weird I think because it was next to the laundry room so there was always a strange burnt smell

room door would only open half way, bathroom door wouldn’t stay open, bathroom light very dim, bed was very hard,ice machine didn’t work & the other one the ice smelled & tasted bad!! no napkins for breakfast area!

Comfy beds
Double charged us for the room. They say they didn't. We have proof, showed front desk. Not preauth charge, real payment, both cleared bank, no longer pending. Front desk lies and says they didn't. Will have to contact my bank and challenge it. Will also contact corporate offices.
