Kind of a Monopoly in Everglades City…only 3 choices @ 2 are owned by this company… Parking needs to be refigured, cars are not the size they were in 1962! Maybe put a chair/table in room 18….if you want to sit you have the toilet or the bed! 🤣

Nach anfänglichen Problemen mit unserem Motelzimmer half uns Deanna von der Rezeption sehr engagiert, kompetent und freundlich weiter, sodass wir ein anderes sehr ansprechendes Zimmer im Inn beziehen konnten. Für einen Besuch der Everglades empfehlenswert. Alle touristischen Anlaufstationen in der Nähe.

We were told we could get in at 3p. We got to the room at 4:30 & it was being cleaned. We had to wait for the maid to finish while we stayed outside. Once we got in, the tv did not work. It took more than 5 hrs & 4 phone calls to get someone to come out. They sent the cleaning woman because her husband, the maintenance man, was sleeping. She did not know what to do & finally got herb husband on the phone & got it fixed.

The room was very spacious and well equipped. We had a nice meal and cocktails at The Diving Pelican but watch out for the mosquitoes if you are walking (15 mins)

They are currently making a lot of improvements to the road and walkways so parts of Everglade City look a bit deserted/derelict. Calling it a City is misleading as it is a few houses and restaurants that are spread out over a wide area. Good base for breaking up a journey or if you love fishing.

Good value for money in Everglades..the room was big and airlines worked well. We were happy

Wasn't expecting much when booking but was surprised. Clean. Good location. Spacious. Worth noting you need to check in at another building and it's not very straightforward to see if you drive straight to the address for the hotel.

It was quite pricey but it could be because we booked last minute.
