This was a very nicely appointed property, close to downtown Alamogordo (restaurants and shops) and on the way to White Sands Nat'l Park. The room was clean and well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and amenities very good.
The breakfast was heavy on carbohydrates, and although there were omelettes, they were rubbery; the sausage was too salty; and there were only apples as fruit - no bananas, which are pretty basic. It was the usual hotel breakfast - bland, boring and pretty unhealthy.

Breakfast was outstanding and every single staff member we worked with was professional, kind, and knowledgeable!
There is a nonrefundable pet charge and the hot tub was closed with no prior notification. We would have changed booking to another hotel if he had known in advance. Customers research hotels based on amenities. When a feature is offered and then not available, it comes off as a hate and switch. Just offer a small discount for the inconvenience! A move like that would lock me in to a particular hotel chain, but it’s never offered so we remain in loyal to any chain in particular! Offer the discount.

After traveling across the country several times, this was my best experience with the staff I have ever experienced across the board. Kind, generous, and efficient. Breakfast was fully stocked and delicious. The room was a great size, had all kinds of amenities and was very comfortable.
Looking forward to staying here again.
There was a group of people staying there that must have occupied several rooms that were in/out, talking loudly and stomping around until well after 11pm.
Nothing the hotel could have done to improve this situation, just a little common courtesy from the people staying there.

The hotel rooms were wonderful. They were clean and up to date. The rooms also smelled very clean! We also really appreciated the convenience of all the restaurants near the hotel. Johnny Cariños was great!
I thought the elevator and halls might need a new paint job and a refresh.

Breakfast staff was friendly, would have liked fruit like cantaloupe, watermelon, pineapple. They did have apples.

The facility was in disarray. Lots of issues starting with the elevator not working. Sadly the desk staff tried to encourage us to use it although it was clearly not functioning. We were afraid of being standed on this elevator. After refusing to use it they changed our room from 3rd floor to 2nd as we had to haul our heavy luggage up the stairs. The next morning we see a sign posted on the elevator as being out of order.

Could not connect to the internet on the booking site said it was pet friendly luckly my dog is a service animal or he wouldn't of been able to stay and i would of lost all the money the room costed and the price of him being able to stay was a bit ridiculous 75 extra dollars puting the room cost over 200 for one night

Breakfast was good, nice variety of choices. Juice machine was broken and so there were pitchers out for apple and orange juice, but it was not kept chilled and was quite warm--not good
75$ pet fee for one night is a bit excessive. The hotel was loud and boisterous with people coming in loudly and late, so not restful.

Rooms are a little on the smaller side, however very clean and comfy. Ashley at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. She is a great asset to the hotel. The women we had for housekeeping on our floor were very friendly and
were very good at their jobs.
Wish the room had more than just one chair to sit in.
