Both rooms smelled like cannabis inside. The hallways are filthy and smell like urine and poop. There are lots of flies immediately outside the room. There are drug dealers upstairs above room and they make a lot of noise at night, entering and exiting, walking back and forth, etc. I notified front desk and they only stopped for a little. We got little sleep. On the last night it was extra bad. So much that we got zero sleep and got up at 4:00 a.m. to leave. It was unbearable. We checked out at dawn. The cleaning staff was nice and efficient. The problem is that the no smoking policy isn't enforced. Also they sell drugs on a boat that is docked there. And the people that live on boats with dogs don't pick up the dog poop.

Das Hotel ist für ein oder zwei Nächte ganz ok. Blick in den Hafen, im hinteren Teil des Hotels.

Die Gegend bzw. das Viertel von Oakland ist berüchtigt für Armut und entsprechende Kriminalität. Man sieht viel Leid auf dem Weg zum Motel.

The room was not mopped it was dirty and the ac was not working properly at all.

The staff and location were superb!

Nothing really stood out.

It said that it was refurbished in 2024 and that is surely a lie! I think that the orange paint may have been updated and that's it…SMH I decided to stay another day bc I wanted more time with my daughter. I had to switch rooms twice bc the room that we moved to didn't have a refrigerator so I had to move to another room with a refrigerator. I was supposed to get a nonsmoking room but it reeks of cigarette smoke! The toilet seat has cigarette burns on it the paint on the walls was poorly executed! It's also overdue for NEW PILLOWS! You have 2 pillows that don't amount to one pillow and it's very uncomfortable I woke up with a crook in my neck! Homeless camps are right up the road so there are a lot of homeless people walking the grounds with nothing being said by the employees!! It doesn't make you feel safe! Last but not least I have a phone in my room 131 and no cord to connect to the staff and when I went to the front office I was told that the maintenance person was off for the night and he was the only person that had access to the keys!!!!😏🤔😡 Thank God for cell phones bc if something happened to me and my daughter I would have to use my cell phone to call 911 instead of just picking up the room phone and pressing 0 to alert danger….!!!!! THIS ISN’T A SAFE PLACE I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!! There is a police substation on the grounds but they're gone at 6:00 pm.… They see homeless people walking around and they say nothing as well! 😡😡😡 I am so grateful to God that I don't live anywhere near Oakland CA. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ please protect this city. In Jesus's name, I pray Amen🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I'm not going to waste my time sending you pics of anything bc I'm sure your company does not care if you have the guts to stay here as a guest you'll see for yourself bc that's the only way to experience what I am experiencing from June 15th to June 18th…. I will be posting this on FB!!

My flight on AA was delayed. Motel 6 cancelled my accommodations for the night I was late AND FOR THE NEXT NIGHT. When I finally got a rental car (having to wait for the rental car facility at SFO to open), I arrived at Motel 6 at about 7:15 am ready to finally get some sleep. Sorry but you were not here last night so your room was cancelled for last night and for tonight. YOU have to talk to BOOKING.COM about MOTEL SIX's cancelation of the Booking.com contract. Very disappointed. Will Motel Six get my patronage in the future? Will Booking.com? I went elsewhere.

tengo una queja muy fuerte sobre la habitación #122 que me dieron y en el área a donde me pusieron para empezar hice una petición muy simple solicité que por favor me pusieran 3 toallas grandes y dos chicas y cuando fui a hacer el checking se lo volvi a recordar a la señorita que me atendió y dijo qje me las iba a dar y nada en absoluto segundo en la habitación que me toco no había servicio de Internet nada tuve que ir a la oficina para que me ayudarán y nada tuve que usar mi propio Internet propio y créanme que horrible es estar asi y por último y fue lo mas vergonzoso las camas hacian ruido rechine y rechine que vergüenza la verdad estoy super decepcionado del servicio y el trato que me dieron
