I didn’t like it at all

Allowing people slam liming the doors do hard my room shook and dogs barking in the middle of the night. No good night rest.

The hallway smelled like urine, there was a car parked on the side that looked like it belonged in a junk yard, there was a flood light that flickered on and off all night right above our room, we had to ask for toilet paper because our room had only enough for one use, we had to flush the toilet two-three times after every use (plumbing Issue?), we stayed two nights but our room was not freshened up, bed wasn't made, towels weren't replaced and we had to empty our own trash can.

Nothing.

Everything. This was the grossest most unclean and unsanitary motel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were dirty and smelled terrible. The shower/bathtub was full of hair. Room had hardwood floors and hadn’t been swept in what looked like weeks. Walls are so thin you can hear people breathe in their rooms. Toilets were stained and smelled like urine. I could not comfortably sleep in the bed sheets, I slept on top of the covers with a blanket I purchased to keep from making contact with the bed. I complained to the manager the next morning and all I got was, “we’re currently going through staffing changes”. Not even a simple apology! Do not stay here. Very disappointing.

The location is great

The phone did not work in the room. And my cell was having issues during the time. That sucked. Also there was not a microwave in the room.

Fairly clean. Nice counter people. Glad to see hard surface flooring, no carpet. Bed linens and bathroom towels were crisp and clean.

The hot and cold faucets in the bath were installed backwards. This is dangerous. The TV had a defect in the sound and made listening nearly impossible. Also a vertical line going through screen that made watching very difficult. Only 2 bars of soap. Could have used some shampoo at least. I'm not sure if the tub was dirty or just very used but kinda gross.

Enjoyed it

The manager is very nice, her son is very helpful and is always ready to assist. The hotel is about two- three miles from downtown - where you can enjoy the hot springs. I really enjoyed River Bend. Wal-mart super center and gas stations close by.

They are extremely low staffed. The outside needs poop picked up bad on the grass, and it appears there are guests who live there long-term. There were police there due to domestic violence, the carpets need shampooed and cleaned (or removed with new flooring like the rooms.) outlets for microwave and refrigerator- only the top outlet works. * Maybe hire an electrician to fix them. The doors look like someone tried to break in. * They all should be fixed. The white walls in the rooms should be repainted, lots of stains, discoloring and marks.
