Cleanliness & decor; spacious room
Sauna was out of service. There was also a temporary power outage during the night. The alarm clock went out and there was no functioning backup battery to take over so setting alarm was useless. Neither Bedside lights nor their related sockets work.

It was close to the highway.
Wasn’t clean, didn’t have working amenities, pool wasn’t working. They only had one elevator.

Overall stay was good. The room layout and amenities were nice i.e. fridge, microwave. I liked the couch in the King suite. Bathroom was clean. Tea and coffee were available all day. Breakfast was included.
Room was ok overall but window curtain was torn and there was only a thin sheer curtain in the middle of the window. On 2nd night, called front desk for more TV remote batteries and was told that someone would come shortly but no one ever did. Also, a loud squealing noise came from bathroom after light was turned off and seemed to only go away if light was left on.

The location was perfect for my needs and the floor we were on was quiet. Great Breakfast!

Hotel is centrally located. We explored Grand Rapids and easy travel to South Haven, Holland and Grand haven. Hotel is near an excellent 24/7 restaurant.

We had to get another room. The refrigerator stopped working. The second room the bathroom water had a major issue.
The hot water made a very loud noise, and the pressure was very low.

The hotel staff is so kind and helpful! Love that it's pet friendly, the kids loved the pool, and the spread for breakfast was excellent. Also can't beat the price! Thanks for a great stay!

The size of the room was OK. 2 beds with a pull out couch made sleeping comfortable.
The whole stairwell smelled like pot. It's a non smoking hotel, but you could smell pot everywhere. They did have an area outside to smoke, and individuals were using that too, but you could tell smoking wasn't being prohibited inside. The rooms were not cleaned very well, and some of the lamps didn't work. Staff was quiet and not very welcoming.

Friendly staff, good facilities.
Our room was clean other than it looked like the cleaning person had horrible dandruff. There was dandruff all over our room. It was cleaned, so that’s why I think the cleaning person did that. Other than that it was great!

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Good selection at breakfast.
Hot water in the shower did not last very long. Felt like I was rushed to shower.

Very convenient location
The pillows were terrible, they were a joke. The room had one mirror. For a room with 2 queens I would have expected at least 2 mirrors for ease of getting dressed.
