clean and comfortable

I was harassed by staff, had a knock on the door at 12 am, a man in a security shirt ordered me to open the door, I did not, He stated we were smoking cigarettes and marijuana INSIDE the room, that was false. He kept passing by our room all night, scary due to the fact that two women were traveling alone with two female children. I was charged a $200 fee that night without warning, despite being told upon check in that only a $50 fee would be held up front. At that time I spoke with the night manager and She stated I was charged this to make sure I had the funds. That is fraud, I was planning on paying my hotel costs in cash, so this wasn’t warranted. I am a smoker and only smoked in designated areas. With the world we live in, to send some male alone to a female travelers door at midnight was scary. We were treated like criminals. It was a scary stay to say the least. Now I will only travel with my husband. Trying to get a hold of the General Manager was impossible, so it was never rectified. Other than the staff our stay was great. Clean, comfortable rooms. Despite this I will never stay at this location which is a-shame because my daughter attends FGCU and I frequently visit.

There area was very convenient for me as well as the staff was wonderful and efficient. The entire hotel as well as the grounds were kept and clean. The beds were comfy. We had a queen suite which was 2 different areas including a pull out couch with plenty of room for our needs. We did have a toilet issue which was taken care of immediately. 5 star staff .

Food and service was good. The bar was a nice touch too.

The cost , over $300 we had to pay as we were stranded due to our flight being cancelled from hurricane.

it’s really not about the property it’s the airport so the sound of airplanes taking off.

The breakfast was fine. Upon booking advertisement stated breakfast included in the price of the room. It didn't specify continental so I was a little disappointed.

The carpet felt wet and the bathroom mold was covered therefore you can smell it had a moldy smell to the room?

the bed sheets and quilt were very itchy. it was unbearable. I broke out in hives. the moisture levels were elevated according to my moisture meter. the rugs need to be removed.

I didn’t like the rugs or moisture levels. the water has a slight smell, and the bed sheets and quilt need to be replaced with softer ones

The omelets were delicious. Service was great, staff was friendly and attentive.

Most Hilton I have stayed offer free breakfast or free continental breakfast so I was a bit surprised that we had to pay for everything. Coffee was a bit light, could be a stronger brew.

the property is in a great location. parking is readily available and there are nice amenities such as pool, Jaquzzi, bar etc.

my room seem to have a major issue with insulation. I had a moisture meter with me and it stood well over 60% humidity consistently. the AC works powerfully so it isn’t that, it’s the window that seems to seep moisture. also my skin was VERY ITCHY since being here. I don’t know what’s causing it. the sheets? the water? the air quality? but something is causing me to have drastically elevated histamine and my skin and hands are itching like crazy. that didn’t happen at the other hotel we transferred from.
