The extra’s were just right. We had breakfast and it was very good. The amount of choices was greatly appreciated.
The bathroom floor was still dirty and could have been swept a little.

Very friendly and attentive staff! A stunningly clean lobby and kitchen. The beds and pillows were so comfy I wanted to sleep all day! Luckily we had to get back on the road, this got us out if bed for delicious and well presented breakfast!

Front desk agent was super friendly at checkout. Rooms were very nice, and I liked the welcome greeting on the tv. Plenty of charging capability.
The hand towels had brown specks all through them. I suspect they were bamboo, but, nonetheless they were gross.They weren't as white as the normal towels, either. Looked kind of dingy.
The front wall and doors could stand some serious soundproofing. Very loud people were going in and out, talking and laughing very loudly and slamming doors. I don't know what a hotel could do but I wish they could figure it out.

This place was great. It was newly refurbished, very clean and appointed with everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing with southwestern omelets and wonderful potatoes etc. We had been traveling across the US and this was our best hotel!

USUALLY DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE BREAKFAST. IT WAS BUSY WHEN WE LEFT
UNDERSTAFFED...THE PERSON WORKING THE FRONT DESK WAS GETTING CALLS AND TAKING CARE OF CUSTOMER CONCERNS. WHEN DOING SO WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE AND GO TO THE ROOM OR WHERE EVER THE PROBLEM WAS. AT ONE TIME THERE WERE 4 PEOPLE AT FRONT DESK WAITING FOR THEM TO COME BACK. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT, JUST NOT ENOUGH STAFF TO HANDLE IT.

For an amount of $280.00+ it would have been nice to have a TV that worked. A working ice dispenser on the floor would have been nice as well.

The pool water was wet, so that's pretty good.
Excessive noise from sides and above until after 1am. Empty spots where breakfast foods might have been. Staff had little training on "new system" which they said didn't work well with Booking.com. Booking.com never sent my payment through to the hotel. Because of that, they charged me again so now I get the joy of unraveling charges through my bank, booking.com, and the hotel.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Hampton Inn Hays. and both times the staff and the facilities have been exceptional. I’m sure the next time I pass through I’ll be staying there again.

I liked the variety for breakfast. One could have cereal, muffin, fruit, or waffle. There were many other choices as well.
I liked being placed on 4th floor as then I did not have to hear anyone walking above me.
