look like stay in home. the hotel is old but all was comfy. staff friendly. clean, good breakfast

The character of the place is simply unique, it has such an old fashioned feel. When I first arrived I was amazed because this was the first hotel I stayed that didn’t have tvs in the rooms, it led to a much better experience because this brought most of the other guests into the common area where all sorts of things were going on. There were adults enjoying drinks by the fireplace having conversations, teenagers playing cards, people playing board games, some young children running and playing, some invested football conversations, and a fellow even hopped on the piano at one point. Don’t forget about the pooches either, it’s quite dog friendly there and a pleasure to see

no hot water in room could not shower in the morning very disappointed.

Nice staff, comfortable bed, spacey rooms. The best French Toast I ever had! And very cute dogs.
