Excellent location close to UVA grounds.

The hotel is a bit run down and there are no drawers to store clothes, but it has a new owner so hopefully improvements will be made.

The beds and pillows were wonderful. Best sleep I've had in a long time. The staff were friendly and helpful and helped us find a nearby church to attend. It was great having a coffee and pastry bar for breakfast in the lobby.

Run down. Simple furnishings and bathroom. Expensive for the area, room, and experience in general, particularly when no special events going on over the weekend to raise the rates. Convenient location within walking distance to many attractions and dining options.

Accommodations not worth the price

The location was convenient, since the event took place there. The view from the event was beautiful. We did like the fact that we could walk to restaurants/stores and it was across the street from the grounds.

The room had a weird odor. Our AC wasn't working 90% of our stay. The room didn't seem very clean. The toilet also practically sits on the floor. Staying there One night was not worth the price we paid.

we had driven the Skyline Drive and gone to Monticello. it was a great place to stay before the next leg of our trip.

The property was fine. I didn’t think guests should have to pay $16.00 for overnight parking.

the rooftop bar was nice and the proximity to UVA was very convenient

it’s a dump. hasn’t been renovated or updated for years. the room decor was more frat house than “graduate.” only offered instant coffee in the rooms (no decaf), no place to refill water bottles and the “coffee shop “ in the lobby was pretty bleak.
