Breakfast hours were shorter than all the other Hampton Inns I visited. It was very crowded and required wait times.

See above. Also, I had a service dog, a small dog, with me and all dogs, all others 60# plus and 2 or more to a room, were booked in neighboring and adjacent rooms. I was confronted in the hall about dog barking when mine was the only one not barking.

The property was clean, front desk staff was nice and accommodating, and there was a nice gated pet area. Pet fee was reasonable for 2 medium dogs. There are also walkable food options nearby.

While the gated pet area was nice, some guests didn’t pick up after their dog so watch where you step. Also would be great to have grass (real or artificial) for dogs since rocks can be hard on their paws.

I upgraded to a suite, and was amazed at the 2 areas size and comfort. I was close to the nice, fenced dog run, which made it convenient for my elderly dog. Walking distance to two restaurants.

Breakfast was terrible. All pastries were beyond stale. Sausage was so tough you could barely eat it and the scrambled eggs were not good. I know it’s only supposed to be a free continental breakfast, but at least make these simple items exceptional.

If you have been to several of the same hotels throughout the US, you kinda expect it to meet the basics, especially when they have an 8+ in booking. We arrived around 9 pm after a long day on the road and check-in took forever. Also, the pool closed at 9, which is very early. This was the first La Quinta where I did not find a queen bed in my room. Full beds are small if you are a couple or tall... We headed for breakfast at 8:20 and there was only wheat bread, some pastries and cereal. NO COFFEE!.I had to go to the front desk (and call "hello" because no one was there) to ask them to refill the coffee, and add more breakfast options because it stated there it ended at 9am. We headed back to our room, and someone knocked and proceeded to open our door. They were checking if we had already left to clean the room... Isn't the hotel supposed to let cleaning people know when people check out? Anyways, not up to my La Quinta expectations at all... price is high for all that.
