Its proximity to Universal Studios

They didn’t have my suite that I reserved for 2 nights,nor was I notified. It took some negotiating to get two rooms in place of family suite I reserved a month prior. Then upon returning for 2nd evening, personal items from 2nd room (minus bathroom essentials) were placed in first room. So we had to go back down and explain the mix up. When we couldn’t find certain items, spent an hour with staff searching through housekeeping closet, bins and garbage cans trying to locate missing items. Finally I was able to locate items that had been bagged up and placed in a shelf in the housekeeping closet. Management nor staff tried to reconcile the issues, just brushed it off like no big deal. Also, “breakfast included” as advertised was no longer available, told in morning, we haven’t updated our sites yet but it’s no longer available… all of this made none of it worth the stay, will never go back!

It was older so it had that older smell, plus it is very humid there (not their fault just how it Is in hollywood weather wise). More protein options for breakfast would have been nice.

No me gustó que hay que pagar parqueadero, cuando se n la mayoría de los hoteles es gratis.

Location

They charged us $145 in the middle of the night and the guy at the desk said he didn’t know why but it would be refunded. No, that’s not ok. That’s stealing from guests. My mom was staying at the hotel and they overcharged her $345!! I will never stay here again- and if it’s not refunded I’ll be filing a report. Do not steal from guests. Luckily we got print out proof of the overcharged payments.

El desayuno le falta variedad, y en las fotografías pensé que era con más variedad. El aire acondicionado es demasiado ruidoso y molesto, al igual que los cuartos que dan a la avenida, se escucha mucho el ruido de los vehículos.

Location was great. Staff members that I met helpful and friendly.

Whole building seemed tired and in need of a refresh. I didn’t like the corridor facing window in my bedroom.

The room was clean and beds were very soft and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Very disappointed with this hotel. Our room did not look anything like the pictures. The beds were plain and white, no red silk linens anywhere. There was not a continental breakfast included however, there was only coffee and juice behind a dim dark bar area. The air freshener in the hallway smelled like cigarette and with a strong scent of floral. It smelled awful! The window in our room faced out to an alley with mattresses and trash everywhere. It was not the most pleasant scene. Unfortunately, we will not stay at this property again.
