Loved that it was so close to cedar point and for that reason alone...the price was hard to beat.
What I didn't like was the stained carpet, the little bit of peeling paint in the bathroom, and the visible light coming from the gap under the main door of the room to the outside. If there was a mouse outside, it could've come in the room if it wanted to. Can't expect perfection though from a cheap hotel. If your purpose is to just pass out after cedar point and wake up and leave in the morning and you aren't grossed out by imperfections then this is the hotel for you. Just bring an extra comforter or ask for one if it's cool outside because the bedding was pretty flimsy.

Our room was right above the dining room where breakfast was, so mornings were louder but it was fine

the staff was outstanding. the rooms were perfect. They had a nice breakfast and they had snacks at night for the kids and adults. The pool was also real nice. I really recommend

The pool area was clean. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The beds were comfortable.

Close proximity to the amusement park
The dirty rooms. There were flying rodents everywhere. Foul odor Coming from the sink and toilet. Bed dressings were dirty and mildew smelling. Floor felt damp as if having been drying from water damage.

It was close to our destination and the price was fair.
The room could have been cleaned better. Water spots on ceiling. Lots of dings and gouges in the wall. Really wasnt a fan of the colors. Parking lot could use some attention. Lots of guests were congregating outside of their room and being loud.

The location was very close to the theme parks and easy to find. However, because of the loud guess and unsavory people hanging around the hotel, we never got an opportunity to use the swimming pool in which my children were very disappointed. And we were not able to eat breakfast, because other gas had eaten it all.
There seem to be some kind of leak in the bathroom, and there was always water on the floor

Staff was really helpful in extending our stay by a night! They let us keep the same room too. When I checked in they were super nice as well and helped me to know what parking was close to my room. Breakfast options were not bad. The room was fairly clean. Loved how close this is to Cedar Point!
The bathroom is soooo small it felt like being in a closet. I showered with the door open because if I closed it I felt claustrophobic. Didn’t love that but not a big deal.

I loved almost everything about my stay! The staff was exceptionally kind, friendly, helpful, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the area and the park. We will probably come visit Sandusky. Yes, this hotel can accommodate us. This place gave us the best customer service we’ve had in a very, very long time. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all of my family and friends with plans to visit the area.
The only thing that I did not like, is that the pancakes that at rave reviews online, the machine was not working however, the young lady that was on duty that morning made everyone’s pancakes by hand, her self at the machine.

The staff was very kind and helpful and very positive.
The location was terrible. It backs up to a different seedy hotel with lots of bikers revving their engines and blasting music. We were carefully watched by people as we unloaded our car and It made us extremely uncomfortable. We ended up leaving the hotel 45 minutes after arriving due to the noise and not feelikg safe.

Nothing at breakfast was not close to what I expected for to be Wyndham
When I saw the Wyndham name on it I just knew it would be class 3 or class 4 hotel accommodations this was barely a class 2 I was very dissatisfied they had to walk outside 150 ft in the rain to go get breakfast I'm used to going down an elevator and going to the room where the food is served this is a two level Motel not a hotel very dissatisfied the room should have been at least $75 cheaper per night I'm totally upset that place was ran by S&S Realty a third party I did not like it at all

Very friendly staff at check in, made an adjustment for us with no problem at all.
Breakfast was literally an Otis Spunkmeyer Muffin when advertised as an "American Breakfast " on Booking.com. Bathroom was VERY small. Other "guests" appeared to be living there on a permanent type basis. Area did not feel very safe. The mistake was mine when booking I won't stay there again due to the surroundings and permanent guests. Wyndham should really be more cautious as to what they put their brand on.
