The location , especially proximity to Virginia Tech Campus. We received the free upgrade to the King suite, which was very specious. The beds were comfortable.The facility is well maintained and clean.

Limited breakfast. The breakfast time is 6am to 9.30 am . By 9 a.m., the breakfast was almost over, and guests were left with limited choice of breakfast. The toiletries were not refilled when we got the room, The access to the front desk was time-consuming.

The room size was great and so was the breakfast.

Way too expensive for what it offers We got a room on the last floor, with a dirty toilet (they said it was the last room available, it was a room for people with disabilities) The roof is full of GSM antennas. We got an exchange for a ground floor room, really noisy, near the ice machine and washers and driers. No room cleanup or towels changed during the two days; someone knocked on the door saying cleaning before 8 waking us up, but they never came back the whole day when we were out; no one took out the trash, made the bed, or changed the towels. Breakfast is a joke, no vegetables, and no cheeses; they had paper cups, and paper plates, they had no food at 8 in one day and at 8 30 the other day (we had to wait for several minutes, there was only one person taking care of breakfast) For over 250 USD per night, one would expect clearness and some proper breakfast.

I am impressed. I have to say that it might be the best service we have received in a very long time. Breakfast was great. The person in charge offered a superb customer service.

Shower room was a little small, but doable. Coffee maker a little hard to use.

the pull out sofa was the most uncomfortable pull out i have ever slept on. The springs and bar were very prominent. also the bathroom fan only have worked. It would shut off and not come back on until it cooled down.

This hotel is worth the price for the breakfast alone. By far, the best continental breakfast I have ever had.

Paid 600 bucks for two nights, Tech Game was cancelled, fee could have been reduced due to that. The fellow tending the Breakfast Buffet was a bit over bearing. I felt pressured to leave him a tip, which I intended to do anyway, however I didn’t have cash on me that morning, I felt like he noticed me and others not leaving a tip, I left him a 20 the following morning . As I said before, the Breakfast Buffet was excellent, the best I have had anywhere. He just needs to dial it back a touch.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating; great breakfast!
