Good location right next to the road but not much traffic from the road is audible. The gas station right next to it has every necessity and very friendly personell.
Every spoken word and noise outside can and will be heard through the paperthin walls. Any car that starts in the morning sounds as if the engine revs right next to one's bed.

I loved everything very clean comfortable and just nice rooms.
I didn't like that there was no vending machines or ice maker outside the facility only at Chevron and they close at 11 so after that there's no access to anything.

The location is brilliant to find in the dark as it’s right on the road by the petrol station and shop. It’s a classic motel, great for a road trip stop, with the bonus of a good comfy bed and nice sheets! The staff were really helpful and the shop is really well stocked.
The air con is quite noisy, but hey, it was hot and I’m just pleased the room had air con!

Very convenient location, easy parking right next to our room, spacious room for our large family.
The air conditioning seemed a bit underpowered for our room. Though we turned it down, our room stayed quite hot until the early hours of the morning.

Entirely minimalist and dated in every way. One tiny bar of hand soap and no shower gel. A single packet to make a cup of coffee. I would definitely not stay here again.

Clean and well priced for location and spacious room. Appropriate mix of furniture for room; beds, nightstand, table with four chairs, fridge and microwave, sink, shower, toilet. Liked the simplicity.
There was some road noise in the unit I was in which was on the side. Property is close to the main road that goes through the town.

Although the room was small it was very comfortable and had all the amenities required. Check-in was quick at the petrol station next door. Parking was available right outside the room which was convenient

reasonably quiet considering its proximity to the highway. Location is good although Big Pine is quite a small town.
there's no shampoo nor shower-gel in the bathroom. apparently, the staff does not refill those containers on a regular basis. There is no customer-service to speak of.

Had to go to the garage to get my key…gentleman very nice and told me what to do etc
Room was so so hot when we opened the door ..took 4 hours after AC switched on to make it comfortable
Very thin walls and could hear conversation from next room
Plus they woke at 5-30 am and had chat with there early morning smoke

Very comfy bed. Quite air conditioning. Big, clean bathroom. Gas station with food and really nice local coffee round the corner, open until late night. Friendly staff. Perfect location for exploring Bristlecone Pine Forest (the reason we visited the area). Although it's located next to a busy road, we couldn't hear the noise much.
Blinds were not working properly, and it was tricky with so many people constantly passing behind the window. There was a bench right below our window and people would sit there and talk, so it wasn't very comfortable.
