Staff was very nice and accommodating. Location was good and it was pretty quiet and relatively clean, and I didn't feel unsafe as a solo female traveler.

The electrical outlets didn't hold my chargers. The plugs kept falling out so I couldn't charge my phones very well. And the lamp by the door didn't work because of the same problem. The heater was very old and it was hard to regulate the temp in the room.

Room was clean & convenient

Bed was listed as queen-sized but was actually full-sized. Could use newer, fluffier pillows

The gentleman at the desk was very nice about anything we asked. The price was decent compared to the prices that other places had due to the weekend we decided to go away. The bed was comfortable.

The Motel needs a little upgrading at least some newer bed sets and the tv was way to small.

No breakfast, this is cheap motel . But I paid for 3 star hotel price

no control of air conditioner

Staff was pleasant, helpful and polite. The air conditioner worked.

My in room phone didn’t work. There was only one half roll of toilet paper. The complementary soap was 2in by 1 in and the shampoo was less than a half oz. There were no cups and no ice. There were no tissues and the bath tub/shower had tons of mold. We had to walk up to the office to get everything that we needed. There was a guest smoking out side of my window. The air conditioner had loads of dust in the grate and the place looked like it hadn’t been updated since 1930. It was definitely not worth the price of the room and the taxes or other fees were ridiculous.

The beds were comfortable. The new owner, Vipul, is a very friendly and sincere gentleman who is trying his best under difficult employment times to maintain the property. We wish him all the best in his endeavors.

The value was terrible: much too expensive for a very tired old motel. The room was musty and we had severe reactions to the mold. The room needed a complete overhaul.

Basic motel, no bfast or pool, but it was clean and was a room with a place to sleep, which is all we needed.

The owner for 49 years, Gail, was just the warmest and friendliest host, that I've ever encountered. The motel was a great value, felt very nostalgic with old school charm. The pool was clean and refreshing and my dog, was welcome and as at ""home" as were my daughter and I. Minutes to best beaches, malls, shopping, highways and altogether, a hidden gem of a place. Will definitely return, again and again anytime we are looking for a friendly, well maintained, affordable and well located motel, near Coastal Connecticut!
