The hotel was lovely. They went above and beyond by delivering a bottle of champagne along with a birthday card and free drink coupon to our room since I told them it was my husband’s birthday.

It was perfect to our location . close to everything we needed.
There coffee shop, didn’t stay open long.. space was tight between shower & washbasin area …it would have been good if our luggage was picked up off Ferry landing , but as we arrived at 12 noon , they said we would not get our bags until 6pm .. so had to struggle with bags ourselves to the hotel ..so a better system may have made this easier .. as we had to wheel our own bags through the street to hotel ..

The staff was fantastic, friendly and helpful
We felt that for the price, it was lacking. It was very frustrating there was no courtesy (anything really) shuttle from where the boat docked to the hotel, despite the fact that it was pouring rain when we arrived.
A bit disappointing and there was nothing "special " other than 2 mini bottles of champagne and 2 free bottled waters, no guide book or menus provided, it just wasn't special. Speaking with other guests at the island, it seemed a bit overpriced for what it was
Maid staff was exceptional. Beds were comfy and lots of pillows were provided.

Very comfortable with an elegant feel. The room was nice. Very nice large bathroom. The amenities were very nice. The Bistro and location was perfect.
The only issue we encountered was that the room above us had very heavy footsteps. It was annoying because there were no other issues with the walls or even in the hallway.

Hotel staff were friendly and courteous. The hotel is spotlessly clean and in a great location, with easy access to the water, restaurants, pier, etc.
Queen rooms are incredibly small. There was hardly enough space to walk around the bed.

Only Atwater associated breakfast was in an adjacent bistro, Bistro at the Atwater, which was very good however the options for seating were limited and not up to the general standards at the Atwater.
The lobby was over air conditioned which made it a bit unpleasant to sit in.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful and upscale and elegantly renovated. Soft tasteful music in the lobby. The little bistro was great and had good coffee. Our room was comfortable with a great view toward the hills. This was a special (celebratory) trip for us and we loved our stay.
