No variety for breakfast

Die Lage war gut, vor allem um im Anschluss in die Appalachen zu fahren. Der Ort ist schön und es ist direkt nebenan ein Einkaufsladen. Das Bett war bequem und die Ausstattung auch okay.

Das Hotel ist ziemlich alt, die Zimmer riechen muffig und sind sehr feucht, die Toilette riecht etwas unangenehm, es ist sehr! hellhörig, das Personal ist eher reserviert und das „Frühstück“ besteht aus in Plastik eingepackte Mini-Muffins und süßen Teigtaschen sowie schlechtem Kaffee/Wasser mit Geschmack. Der Preis ist viel! zu hoch für die Leistung!

Die Lage zur Durchreise und zu den Blue Rich Mountains war ok.

Die gesamte Unterkunft ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und bedarf einer dringenden Renovierung. Das Zimmer roch muffig. Der Teppichboden war einfach ekelig. Das Zimmer war insgesamt in einem heruntergekommenen Zustand. Es gab nur ein kleines Handtuch für zwei Personen. Auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption habe ich dann die fehlenden Handtücher/Duschtücher erhalten, die allerdings sauber waren. In der Badewanne lagen noch Haarbüschel von den Gästen zuvor. Auf das Frühstück haben wir verzichtet. Es bestand aus Kaffee/Tee und abgepackten Muffins. Eine Sitzgelegenheit gab es nicht. Auch die Dame an der Rezeption

I had some kind of nasty stain on the blanket. It looked like either blood or feces . The air wasn’t working well so it was very hot in the room .

Where do I start? We had a dog with us, which I made clear while booking. They put us on the backside of the hotel, where it was all gravel. No grass, unless you wanted to pass by the permanent residents that were a few units down. Not only did they stare at us the entire time, they kept late hours with kids, so they were loud after 9pm. Upon entering the floor was sticky for every single square inch, door to bathroom. The ac didn't work correctly. Had it set on 60 just to keep from sweating. There were black stains on the sheets. There was poop under the toilet seat. There were still hairs from the last guest in the shower, fine, but the shower wouldn't drain. My wife and I both showered in a good inch of standing water. The water pressure was terrible, regardless of the setting. As far as leisure activities, there was no channel guide, no stationary that provided an address, and no bible. We didn't even get a phone book, nor did we get a phone The "continental breakfast" was some pastries from the dollar store, "Mrs freshly's" to be exact. Coffee was terrible, orange juice was "out" They boast a restaurant that's non-existent. I paid for 2 nights, only stayed for one. I had a funeral to attend. It was later than super 8's checkout, but they wouldn't work with me even though the place was essentially empty. I'll never use a super 8 again, and I understand it's appeal, 64 dollars a night isn't bad in today's economy, but this place is less than a 20 dollar a night joint. This 1 night stay cost my 190 dollars with well behaved dog, this was highway robbery, and I hope this place goes out of business soon, what they charge is criminal for what you get.
