The hotel was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The location of the hotel was perfect. It is located in down-town Staunton and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops and even next door to the theatre.

Although I confirmed with the hotel that I would be having dinner there on 12/9/23, they failed to tell me there was a private Christmas party booked then and that they would not be serving dinner to guests not attending that party. We had to find a restaurant in the last minute and still make the show we had reservations for. It would have been nice for the kitchen to offer the same food they were providing to the party guests, on a modified menu, for the hotel guests. The room we stayed in (316) was very very small and the TV remote was clearly broken, (literally in pieces). The staff at the front desk gave us a new one that worked fine.

The central location of the hotel made it easy to get around without using a car.

A lovely historic hotel with comfortable rooms. Enjoyed a drink at the bar at the end of the day.

The room was clean and nice. The location was very convenient. The Staff was available and knowledgeable.

We did not attend the breakfast., so we can't comment on the food, but the room was nice, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
