Wow! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It was amazing. We lucked out somehow and got the room for $150 after tax and fees. What a deal! We would stay again. 2 big bedrooms with queen beds, a big living area and a full kitchen with a full fridge and dish washer. A++. Staff was great. Check in was a bit lengthy and parking wasn’t free but other than that, no complaints. Parking was close.

Room was clean My son's bed was great ... my bed was very squeaky but I was tired didn't matter much. Very wierd to pay for parking.

I appreciated the easy access and access to parking. Limited access to front-desk staff, given the amount of check-ins due to our event did make things a little slow.

bed is very firm. laminate floors in the rooms needed to be mopped. my socks were filthy after walking around in the room.

The staff was friendly. The room was fairly modern and clean.

The floor was really creaky. My TV remote didn’t work and the power button on the TV did not work, so I had to unplug it. The room was much smaller than expected, as well as the bed. The bed was unfortunately not very comfortable. Overall, I wished I had comfier and slightly bigger accommodations for the price.

Had to wait almost an hour to check in. This is after check in time. Then we were told the wrong directions to our room. There was a huge rip in the carpet.

The room was clean and the location was an easy walk onto campus and nearby restaurants. This is the perfect location to stay in if you are visiting the campus with a prospective student or if you have a student attending the University. I will definitely be visiting again with my family when my son attends in the fall

The room temperature was too hot but this was explained to us upon arrival. Temperature adjustment did take through the evening. Other people may complain about this but I did not find this unmanageable.

The concierge was amazing and super helpful. The best welcoming we have received on our trip. Our room was clean but everything in the bathroom was broken. Needs a bit of an upgrade.

It was freezing in our room. Couldn’t turn on the heat.

The Wi-Fi was strong.

Noisy hallways until 3:00 am, breakfast wasn’t served until 8:00, difficult to find front entrance from parking lot, outdated bathroom and creaky doors in room

I had classic salmon platter - delicious! My husband said the garbage plate was also good! Overall my review is outstanding for the hotel staff most especially April! She was the most hospitable, kindest and knowledgeable staff! All of the staff so far are very accommodating! The hotel room is so nice, very clean and amenities are updated!! Very highly recommended!!

Front desk manager must be en pointe because they have the best, most professional front desk clerks I've experienced in a long time. Dave was most notable, warm and friendly but not fake at all, really welcoming and a pro. Bonus points for him keeping good humor during Xmas eve check ins. The room was a surprise since I saw the Genesee Grand when it was being decorated, now it's a bit plain with the S.U. colors. But it's nice regardless. Comfy beds and pillows, quiet, heat worked well (necessary in Syracuse winter!). The housekeeping staff is en pointe also, the room was spotless! Thankfully easy parking. Near to campus. Overall a win.
