- Right at the beach, perfect to watch the sunset and walk safely back to the hotel - Location is great, near Main Street and all places you wanna go to - Toiletries quality superb: best shampoo and conditioner compared to other hotels, high quality - Good Pool choices, quite busy at times (the diarrhoea warn signs at the pool doors were slightly off-putting though, I can only assume they had some situations before, just never seen warning signs like this in other hotels)

Hyatt Huntington Beach overall 2/5 - Not worth the money, premium prices without the premium service - Facilities ok but not too special (general resort style facilities) - Restaurants overpriced - Small shops on site are lovely but little to offer - Room not suitable for 3 people based on bed and room facilities (towels x2 instead of 3, bathrobes x2 instead of 3, same for water and toiletries), also looked dated, had to make a complaint to get it rectified after 11h flight and after 10pm def. not what you want, in all fairness once the manager got involved it got resolved quickly - Interior was ok and lobby quite dark - At check in, no infos given re: breakfast, gym or similar, the welcome was underwhelming, staff was more interested in putting my credit card on file and authorising a “security” / incidental charge that wasn’t needed (room was fully paid); check out had a queue and if they had express check-out it wasn’t obvious to anyone standing in that queue incl. myself. Usually I get an email for express check out but not here - Partial ocean view was a joke, 5% view does not warrant the higher price tag; after staying in other Hyatts after this stay and with the same room description , I now know they just put us in any room to tick customers off the list. We did not get the room we booked. See picture attached with the “partial ocean view” and bed that was suggested by the hotel three people can sleep in (after my complaint, we got a roll-in bed that looked like it rolled out of 1980) - Score reflects overall and in comparison to other Hyatts and hotels we stayed at for same price range - Attention to detail was missing here, staff don’t seem to care enough or are in training - Feedback was given at the time to staff so this review doesn’t come as a surprise

Был детский бассейн с горками, который мои дети полюбили. Завтраки в формате буфет были только на выходных и это были восхитительные завтраки, в будни завтраки хорошие по меню. На территории есть магазины с продукатами и рестораны, это очень удобно. В отеле очень тихо и спокойно. Парковка очень удобная.

Наш номер был на теневой стороне, хотелось чуть более солнечный номер. Завтрак в формате буфет хотелось бы всю неделю

Great location, close distance to Huntington Pier & Main Street. Able to hire nice cruiser bikes to travel around which was great fun. Handy to have the walk bridge to beach. Room was nice and big for the 3 of us to stay in with walk-in wardrobe and large bathroom with stand alone bath & separate shower. That was after we asked to pay for an upgrade as first room we were allocated wasn't great. The room we ended up in had a great view overlooking the water feature in the hotel and the beach.

Bedroom & bedsheets were very clean but bathroom/toilet was not cleaned properly, dust & other people's hair collecting in corners of toilet/bathroom. Our complimentary water was not replaced in the entire time we stayed there which was poor considering 2 bottles everyday were meant to be included in the amenities fees we paid. When we mentioned it to front desk they just offered to give us two bottles from them rather than address the situation and make sure it was resolved during our stay. So many private functions and sales conferences going on that sometimes certain areas/restaurants weren't available for us to use. Had we known that we wouldn't have booked to stay here as the cost is very high if the facilities aren't available. Guests staying beneath us constantly smoking on the balcony which wasn't pleasant when we wanted to sit on our balcony. We mentioned this to the hotel & they said they weren't allowed to smoke & said they would sort it. But unfortunately, the guests continued to smoke. It felt the hotel had lost the high standards we had received on previous trips. It is ok but I'd say its more of the standard of Hyatt Newport Beach now, mainly geared for standard business trips. Not the family hotel we have used it for before.

We had a King room with a full view of the ocean and it was beautiful. The only thing we missed was the actual sun setting. The building next to us was in the way of seeing the sunset. But when the sun set the sky was many beautiful colors. We really loved our room.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Excellent service. Loved the spa and room service.

The only restaurant open for lunch at the time was the main restaurant. There was no bartender working and the menu was VERY limited.

Location was great and we had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Housekeeping did not come to clean room each day. We had to ask for clean towels, coffee pods, tp, etc.

This resort is stunning. The quintessential California vacation. Even though I am a native, I felt like I was in some tropical exotic destination.

The food was a tad pricey, but that is not unexpected for a resort.

This was my second visit within 4 weeks. I just spent my 50th birthday there. I think I just found my new weekend getaway from Vegas.

The only thing that I didn't like and I wouldn't even say I didn't like, but I wish that the flat screens were on a swivel. It allows you to see the TV better when you have a bigger room with the separate seating area.

Hotel was amazingly comfortable and has beach access. Everything you need is right on site. Loved the concierge servive of beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, sunscreen.

Had slight hassle at check in.
