The room was clean and the hallways smelled clean. Air conditioning worked really well, but a bit loud at night. The room was a nice size. The desk also accommodated us with early check-in and ground floor request.
The pool was clean, but a bit small. Okay for kids wanting to cool off.
The breakfast was a little lacking, closer to a continental rather than a full breakfast as advertised. Normally we stay at Best Western or Holiday Inn Express and they provide fresh cooked eggs, bacon, and sausage. We did like the fresh mini waffles. Also the breakfast area was small with no where to really sit comfortably for breakfast. We were okay with taking it back to our room, but it would have been nice if trays were available to carry the breakfast back to our room.
The beds REALLY need to be replaced. Mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and low quality.
Also, the info. guide in the room was majorly outdated. The date on it was 2011. It should be updated at least quarterly.
We also didn't like that we had to purchase a room with 2 double beds because the King bed really wasn't an actually king size. Very disappointing since the 2 double beds cost significantly higher and for the location wasn't really justified.
Nice to have a frig. but the door shelves were all broken off so drinks had to placed on their side to fit.

The staff was super friendly and helpful! The room was clean and basic, it met my expectations for a super 8.
The breakfast was fine, I had cereal and coffee, but I was surprised there was no fruit or oatmeal.

There was a motion detecting light that came on every time my son moved his legs, it woke us several times,
I told the person at the desk who took my number but I never received a call.

The room was clean and quiet. It had everything we needed. I didn't see anything glaring that turned me off like many hotels have. I may have underrated it. The room was perfectly fine. The breakfast was to be expected. I know they aren't investing a huge amount of money into it but it was plenty enough to get us going in the morning. I was surprised there wasn't more of a turnout for it. A comp breakfast is always appreciated.
Really the only thing I have to frown about was the price for the night. I don't know if it was a $200 room but perhaps that was comparable for the area. The general location in a mall parking lot seemed a little iffy but it turned out okay. If we were staying there longer the stores and restaurants in the mall could have come in handy. On the whole, not much to complain about.

The staff was kind.
The bed was terrible. It was a very hard mattress.
The refrigerator in the room was constantly making a loud buzzing noise. I didn't get any sleep.

Be aware that this hotel is in a very small city, where you will be stared at if you are a minority. We arrived late at night and had been driving for several hours. Before check in, I asked to use the bathroom as I really had to go and could not wait. The front desk personnel refused, saying she prefers to check me in first before allowing me to use the bathroom. I had given my credit card info over booking.com but then realized when I got there that I left my credit card at home. When I realized the mistake I asked if the desk person would still allow me to check in, as I have my cc info memorized. which she refused saying she would have no idea if the credit card was stolen. which I understand to a degree. We agreed to pay cash but then she called someone over the phone who told her to charge us a extra 100 dollars if we pay in cash. We did not have that much money - so we asked if she knew of any atms in the area. the front desk lady was so unhelpful and was so unhelpful in helping us find a solution when we where stranded 3 hours away from home. Because it was such a small city the next WellsFargo atm was 18 miles away. We called a hotel in a nearby bigger town and they were more than happy to book us in their hotel. it was a bit more expensive by way more nicer than this hotel - were you can use the bathroom before check in.
