when we arrived and checked in the girl at the desk was very young. she maybe 17. Very unprofessional. Got to the room. Was sent around the back. Our room was almost above the front desk. When we opened the door, we were hit by a strong chemical smell. Turned on the TV. It didn’t work. The girl at the desk couldn’t fix it. She said the manager would be back soon. No TV. Our stay was 4 nights. Our room was NOT CLEANED any day. I would never stay there again!!! All the employees I saw were under 19 years old. Not impressed!!!!!

The location was good, close to good restaurants, good parking
Breakfast could have been more fresh. Rooms were not as nice as what was pictured on the website.

The king bed was very comfortable
Stale smoke smell in the room.
Shortage of staff delayed guests from getting into their rooms in a timely manner. The young man at the front desk bent over backwards to accomodate.
I didn't get his name, but he should get a raise!!

The price was ok for summer in lake country. Breakfast had a good variety of items. Bed and pillows were comfortable.
There was a musty smell in the room that got worse when the air conditioner was running. Also the air conditioner was quite loud and kept us awake so we needed to turn it off during the night.

The staff was very friendly, and went above and beyond in making sure I was comfortable and having fun my entire stay!

We had pets with us and appreciated being so close to a door. Outdoor spaces gave us plenty of room to walk them. We were very happy with the cleanliness and comfort of the pet-friendly room.
Breakfast was only ok, (processed-not much protein or whole grain offerings) typical of most motels.

I'm concerned about the safety of the bathtub. Its very slippery, there are only 2 1/2 nonslip strips secured. 1/2 a strip not attached anymore. I guess to me its an accident waiting to happen. And also no grab bars to get in/ out of the tub.

This motel is conveniently located, with easy access to downtown Park Rapids and many shopping destinations. The staff are extremely courteous and accommodating. My room was very clean and comfortable.

Needs complete renovation! Carpets in breakfast areas are filthy! Need replacement or cleaned at the least!
The front desk clerks are not friendly, very poor customer service/people skills.
