Cette auberge de jeunesse est vraiment très chouette, l'établissement dispose d'un bar avec des animations régulière, d'un escape bibliothèque idéal pour travailler, d'une grande terrasse avec vue sur Manhattan. Le personnel est très accueillant. Les chambres disposent d'un rangement avec cadenas pour stocker ses affaires et d'une salle de bain dans la chambre. J'ai été ravie de ce choix. Le plus ? Il y a quelques restaurants sympa autour !

Compter une dizaine de minutes pour accéder au métro le plus proche. En tant que femme je ne me suis pas toujours sentie très en sécurité la nuit en sortant du métro mais le quartier qui borde l'auberge de jeunesse lui est très tranquille.

The room was suitable. It's not fancy, but it doesn't need to be. The communal kitchen is a great plus, and the lounge is a calm and comfortable place to relax.

I wish the shower had something to temporarily place one's soaps on. Also, perhaps the shower curtain can be a bit longer (or maybe weighted), since as of now, it kinda billows over the edge and wets the other side of the floor.

The room was spacious with enough storage for all four occupants. The room was meticulously clean, with fairly new linen. Located right in the center of New York City eased access to all tourist attractions.

Sadly, there was no mugs/cups in the pantry. So, I couldn't have tea as i frequently do.

La habitación muy cómoda. Cuenta abajo en con un lugar de estar muy bueno, además de un bar, una cocina, y un lugar para trabajar o usar la compu. Todo muy amplio y genial

Lo único para comentar es que no tiene ascensor, pero igualmente, es un solo piso y con una escalera con descanso en el medio. No es tan dramático

A lot of youth energy, an excellent terrace and nice staff.

The AC was louder than what I thought was possible for any electric equipment. There's two stairs to reach the rooms with your luggage and no elevator.

Don’t hesitate to book! Great value, clean and loved the common area that has its own cafe and bar. Perfect spot to explore New York - you are so quickly in Manhattan with the subway. Area feels safe and is when preferred, away from the hustle of downtown. I would book again!

The bathrooms could use some updating.

It was very clean and the roof terrace is really nice.

Unfortunately, there were problems during check-in. The locker provided was occupied and no one took care of it. I ended up fixing it myself. On the second and third day, my key card didn't work because I was supposedly booked in the wrong room and I was supposed to be in a different room.

Not the first, but definitely not the last time visiting "The Local NYC" Nice, clean, perfectly located and affordable.

There was confusion on my first night. Someone else was staying in my bunk.

The 4 bed room is very comfortable. It has a toilet and shower inside, heating/AC and plenty of space. It was very clean and they changed my bed sheets and towel each 3 days. It's very close to a subway station and only one station away from Manhattan.

The cleanliness of the kitchen is the only negative point of the hostel. The neighbourhood has some good bars, cafes, restaurants and parks, but it's not as dense and cool as Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient and very close to subway station Court Square-23 St. The area is safe and quiet, with shops, supermarkets and restaurants around. The room is small but nice. The view from the rooftop is amazing.

There are not some many places to put your stuff in the room. The bed cracks.

So we booked the double room, the ac was very loud. You cannot sleep without it, because the temperature drops (we were there in December). but you also wake up at night because of ac noise. After complaining like for 4 of 5 days there they gave us an radiator, and it was much better. Overall the ac at that rooms are not suitable for a hotel room. Because of the complaints, two nights of our stay were waived. Also you could hear everything from the outside: noise, cigarette smoke, even if the windows were closed. the night stand was very sticky.

The hostel is really very good. I came alone, and I was really happy. The hostel is well placed, quiet and is good value for money

I found the toilets and showers a little lacking in maintenance. The kitchen is not very clean either

I felt bit uncomfortable for the location at night but probably because of the image. Nothing wired or subspecies happened indeed.
