Close to downtown & the hospital where we had business. Free parking and great free breakfast.

We appreciated the upscale decor. It's hilltop location enhanced the view. We were very impressed overall and remarked to the friendly staff how they had "not missed a trick" in providing a great stay.

Quick story. We came to Elkins WV for an impromptu wedding for our son and his fiancé because of a severe family medical situation. One thing after another seem to go wrong with the information that was given at the courthouse and the wedding almost didn’t happen. The hotel staff went over and above to help, specifically Mrs. Elaine Douglas and Mr. Chip Friddle, by calling everyone they could think of to help. Mr Chip ended up contacting an old friend that is a minister. Mr Bobby Benavides agreed to help out because of the situation. Mrs Douglas offered the awesome lobby for the ceremony because of the weather and the wedding happened after all with the help of Mrs Liz Simmons. No words can express how greatful our family is for this generosity. The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable but the staff made everything exceptional. Thank you again.

Very nice room, but the tile floors were ice cold even with the heat on high.
the tile floors were ice cold even with the heat on high. The vending machine wouldn't take cash so the 1.50 soda cost 1.59 with a card. Not cool to charge a fee when you aren't allowed to pay with cash.

Staff went out of their way to make our Christmas stay welcoming and supportive. We broke a perfume in the bathroom on accident and someone came on Christmas Eve to help us clean it up.
