Great food and service

Hotel staff and accommodations requested.

The pool, and being close to the Ocean. My rooms view was yuck but other rooms would of been amazing.

The room was nasty, very dirty. We thought they had put us in the wrong room- one that had not been cleaned yet. The filth really starts at the elevator.

The view is more than spectacular, the staff was excellent. We have Grandchildren in Crescent City, and this was our first time staying at Oceanfront Lodge... but it WON'T be the last. We LOVED it.

when we arrived at the hotel our floor in our room was dirty like it had not been swept. the room smelled like mildew. our lamp did not work and the phone did not work. I had asked twice for house keeping to come and change our towels out. I finally had to walk down stairs and ask the front desk staff. the girl was so nice and helpful, she said I am sorry about that can I go up and collect the dirty towels and give you fresh ones. the pool was freezing, the hot tub was over flowing and had mildew in the corner. the gym smelled so bad of mold and mildew. the food was not worth the money. waffles had batter still coming out and steak was rare when asked to have medium rare. the hotel definitely needs an up hall all over. the front desk staff is amazing and so nice and helpful. for the $526 for the two day. I wish the room would have cleaned better.

Location on the beach and close to town, highway, excursions was excellent.

Seems like hotel has seen better days. A little run down. Next to vacant lot and closed building. Nothing was so bad just seemed a little neglected.

I love coming to this place. The front desk staff are caual and helpful and the beach is AWESOME!! Not to mention the new beds. Love it here.

The view is excellent.

The beds were too hard, our room was right beneath a pool table that was in the lobby and the staff did not prevent people from playing pool after 10pm and they played all theough the night.

The property is awesome. The views are amazing, and even on the side of the building, waking up with the waves crashing just a few yards away was amazing. My waitress/bartender was super friendly and helpful as well.

No HDMI access on the TV

Bed was comfortable.

- At the time of check in, nobody was at reception because the staff was busy at the restaurant. - few spiders in the room and one of the queen bed had sheets not properly clean. - hair dryer was melted (and not working). Tried to call reception but the staff was still busy at the restaurant. We had to go find someone to ask for assistance. There was only a young girl available (very kind and overwhelmed, running in and out from the restaurant) who brought a new wall hair dryer, but she did not know how to properly plug it. - Breakfast (not included) was supposed to be from 7am to 10am. At 7 am and until 7.40am (when we left with no breakfast) no staff was there.

The location is nice, in front of the beach and close to services.

The hotel is very old and need maintenaince. The staff is very friendly but there very few employees. I had to ask for support with the washing machine and had to wait around 10 min to find someone.

our room had horrible Ants got into all our stuff and the people next to us was so loud and disruptive all night but the hotel staff didn’t care

Room not as promised. Facilities are not available. No pool, no restaurant. Construction not mentioned next room over while sleeping.

Loved the location, a little worn. Bed was comfy!

The receptionist, told me an oceanfront room had no ocean view…. when we got to the room it was oceanfront with an ocean view, so very confusing and caused me stress and a 30 min hassle at checkin. Also departure morning the receptionist was eating breakfast. Eating meals should be in private and not in full view at reception.

We could not see out windows, did a spa upgrade…sad. Rooms need pictures, color… wanted breakfast …staff never showed up…any day….Lame. Lobby needs help. Looks like no one cares. Over all this hotel is sad.

The location and mattress was comfortable.

When we first arrived, the room we were staying in smelled like dead fish. They did switch our rooms when we asked. We paid extra for a room with a jacuzzi tub, that was full of dog hair and unusable.

The restaurant hours. I wish breakfast was served a little longer especially for a weekend. we missed dinner and breakfast due to the hours pushy staff they knocked on our door 3 times starting 30+ minutes prior to checkout times upon leaving the staff member was waiting outside our door and rolled his eyes instead of a Happy New Year, enjoy your day or a good morning. not welcoming - No taxi numbers available at the front desk
