The staff was friendly and the room clean and in good repair.

The water in the shower was NOT hot. It started lukewarm and got tepid within five minutes. Also the shower floor is slick tile with no mat or rubber skids to protect you from slipping or falling. This needs to be fixed.

Though Joshua Tree is not very big , the motel was in a great location. Cafe across the street very good for breakfast. Major Retro vibe. nice size room . second room door to an interesting patio.

The heater fan is part of an a/c combo heater that continuously turns off and on every few minutes. If you can sleep through that, you’re not alive. It was torture and we couldn’t stay the second night which was by then, non-refundable. Also, the previous guest had left items and wrappers in the mirrored bathroom cabinet. Sink area and mirror had not been cleaned. We wiped the old toothpaste splatters as best we could with napkins but really? Bathroom cabinet above toilet looked like it had never been cleaned. We expected “dated” but not dirty.

The man at the reception was so helpful before and during my stay.i made a mistake while booking and he contacted me to get it cleared up right away. Once I arrived, the check in process was quick and easy and he provided many local tips. This is more like an inn. The room was simple but comfortable and had all the basics for a short stay in Joshua Tree. Convenient location!

very dirty room; toilet, sink, floors, chairs, etc all dirty like they had t been cleaned in over a year. The only things that were clean were the bed sheets, pillow cases, and towels.

There was a decent amount of mold in the bathroom, shower would only run cold water or drizzle/drip hot water but couldn’t get even a little pressure. Hair from a previous guest in the drain.

Perfect location to explore the National Park

Great location for Joshua Tree National Park and visitors' centre. Very helpful owner who provided guide to J T, map of local restaurants and weighed our luggage for us prior to our flight. He also upgraded us to a king bed.

The best Motel in the Area! Super clean and incredibly nice service!

This is the "off" season for Joshua Tree, so I was one of only a few guests. The hosts (owners) were wonderful and offered to open the pool for me each afternoon. I extended my stay one night because of their hospitality. I misplaced my room key, and they did not get upset, they simply gave me another key. If I return to Joshua Tree, I know exactly where I'll stay. This is an older building, but it is comfortable, clean and affordable.

This place offers exactly what I hope for in a budget motel in the US. Friendly service at the desk, a decent-sized room, air-con, a comfy bed and spotlessly clean. It's in a great location with cafes within walking distance, and near the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.
