it’s hard to find a two bedroom suite with a kitchen in a lot of places.

the carpet in the hotel needed to be sweep.

As always the location is great,I've been coming to the same spot for over 25 years with all the different changes and management and the hospitality of the staff was great but the hotel itself is slipping away. The hotel doesn't offer quality food and choices like before and it's cut out other options as well, I don't know if I'll be returning for those reasons and that's such a shame too.

The changes as stated previously

It was nice and spacious.

There was a big dead roach in our room. I notified the front desk and they seemed to have been upset that I said anything about it . I had to ask them to vacuum the room since it must have not been vacuumed hence the roach. They vacuumed and left the roach on the doormat.

The breakfast had good variety. The pool wasn’t busy. One staff member in the front was really friendly and accommodating. The cooking tools and pots were perfect for the stay.

Most of the front desk staff members were rude. We had a large cockroach in our room and there wasn’t an apology or empathy. A maintenance worker was called to kill it. When we arrived we had no towels. It was difficult to get fresh towels every day because there were none available at the front. We were told to get amenities at the front, but there were never any or not enough available. We had very little shower gel to start off with and when I asked for more, there was none left. I asked for 6 pool towels for my family and they could only give me 2 at the front and there were no towels at the pool. Our stay was just very difficult and we ended up washing the towels because there were never any or enough available.

The price

No towels when we asked for them 3 times and they kept saying they would bring them to our room but Never did. They only clean the rooms every 3 days so we had to go ask for trash bags to empty the trash and the guy told me he gave his last trash bags away, I tried to get ice the first day we stayed and they gave us a trash bag to put it in(probably why they didn't have any for actual trash). The refrigerator in our room didn't get cold until the day we left the drinks were finally cold. Staff didn't really seem to care about anything and seemed like I was a burden to them. The picture of the room I reserved said it was a 1 bedroom and had doors to separate the room from the living area but there were no doors.

I originally found this hotel through booking.com, which is fine. I should have thoroughly checked the Google reviews prior before booking. We checked in on 05/24/24 and checked out 05/26/24. The check-in process was okay. Please be mindful that only credit cards are accepted at this location and they charge a parking fee of 7 dollars per night. They will provide a pass. My issues started happening after check-in, we got to our room and several areas were either dirty or damaged. After realizing the issues the room had I went back to the front desk and informed them the room hadn't been properly cleaned, one of the sinks in our room was severely cracked in the bottom, the room with the bath tub was dirty, the bathroom door had damage to it, the shade for the window had stains. I will say she did try to relocate us to another room from when I first checked in, but at the current time nothing was available. Also she informed me several rooms have damaged sinks in them, she did say house keeping would come by and I agreed to that. I had left the property and came back to the to find housekeeping did not come back to clean the room. When I returned it was night-time, I couldn't accept the conditions of the room and went back to the front desk and Mr. Russel was able to assist me. He reassigned us to a different room, the new room had minor issues with the cleaning and slight cigarette smell to it. But I clean the rooms I choose to stay in regardless and made it work for the time being.

It’s convenient in the Addison area.

The fact that they charge an additional $100 that they don’t mention when booking and that they only accept credit cards. Also, the room I had had no a/c. I ended up leaving early because of this, being that it is too hot and all they offered were points.

Well kept and managed grounds and suites. Not far from LBJ freeway and my destination.

There was a floor transition of tile to commercial carpet in the breakfast or dining room that was a bit high in design. This incidentally caused my wife’s step to pitch and broke her foot.
