It was clean and dog friendly. There was a nice area across the street to run the dogs and a long sidewalk to walk them on.

I liked the beds and the breakfast was the best part of the stay. It was easy to get to off the interstate.
The pool was closed which them having a pool with lift was the only reason we came so that was very disappointing. The room was supposed to be mobility accessible but had a normal tub just with a fold down seat that made the water run everywhere and the tub didn't drain right. My mom said her blankets smelled musty. They don't have as many extras/toppings out at breakfast as the pictures lead you to believe.

Pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Have had a neck ache since. I will be back but will bring my own pillows.

Hampton Inn & Suites Effingham has no competition! The hotel is amazing. It is clean and very welcoming. Sarah took care of my check-in. Immediately, she welcomed me with a beautiful smile. Checking in didn't take long at all, and even had a great conversation. The room was clean, and I mean clean!! From now on I will be using Hamptom Inn wetever I go!

The daylight bulbs in the lamps were awful. The soft white bulbs would give a much warmer/home-like look.

Both mine and my brother's credit card were charged for this visit! We called Hampton over a week ago and they said they would credit my account but it is still not been done! Can anyone tell me if this is going to be handled?

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was warm and plentiful. The hotel and our room was beautiful and very clean. I would definitely suggest this hotel to anyone I know traveling to that area.
There was really nothing to not like. The view out the window was not great but most hotels near highways don't have great views. They did not have peanut butter with the breakfast and would have liked to have that on my bagel. ;0)

I loved the location and clean rooms. it was great to have a handicapped bath, too.

The studio room with two queen beds was well worth the little extra money. It had enough room that we could all spread out and walk around without tripping over each other. Breakfast had a number of choices, and trays to help carry it to your room.
A little short staffed the night i stayed. It wasn't really a problem to wait five minutes to check in, but there was no sign saying they'd be right back, so i did start to wonder what had happened.
