The Architecture of the hotel was fascinating.

There was no one for checkin! This is the first time in my life that I come across to a "Closed" hotel. It was between 10:30 to 11. It was not even that late. Literally, there was no one in the reception and the doors were locked and closed! Fortunately, they refunded the charge without answering any phone calls, but the experience was terrible yet funny in the middle of the night.

Very nice location in Laguna Beach and comparatively affordable considering the location. If you are looking for a relatively well-priced place in Laguna Beach to stay and explore the surrounding area, you won't be disappointed. The breakfast was also a nice touch!

Room was quite small without much light and a bit outdated. The property is right next to Highway 1, so it can get a bit loud depending on traffic.

I felt like I was at a secluded getaway. Great atmosphere and sunsets.

For work, it was a little bit of a walk. that said, it was nice to be somewhat off the beaten path.

The property has beautiful grounds with multiple gardens and patios with fountains available for relaxing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The buildings are historic with tons of charm.

It is located right on the highway with traffic audible at most times of the day.

There was a lot of attention to detail and the grounds are super charming. The pool area is relaxing with attentive service. Food was great and everyone was super friendly.

Would have liked a small fridge in the room but not a huge deal. :)

The inn is beautiful- the design, the courtyards, fountains, plants, everything was serene. The rooms are beautifully designed as well- like a magazine photo. Love the pool area, small but very comfortable and lots of shade for those that get burned by the sun easily. Staff are amazing! Super nice and friendly,

I wish the bed in our room was a little softer. Also, there is noise from the cars going down Coast Highway, which is noticeable in some areas (like our private terrace), but not noticeable in most of the common areas- the plants and fountains help a lot.

the location and the quaintness. it’s a lovely place. we like a boutique hotel.

the room was small. we would have preferred a king bed. the room wasn’t cold enough. instead of a light fixture on the ceiling a ceiling fan would be better. all the doors stuck, hard to open. coffee should be in the room. there was no juice at breakfast.

Its an absolutely charming 1920’s property with a ton of history. The staff!! Ziman at the front desk is absolutely amazing. He made the whole experience!!
