Breakfast is no longer served which the host told me when I confirmed my reservation. The location is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The host, Bill, was friendly, kind and full of recommendations for dining and sights to see on the island. We stayed in Room #1 which was very large with a king size bed and a view of the creek. The best thing was just relaxing on the porch swing and enjoying the quiet and stillness. I highly recommend staying here and I plan on going back again.

The location was beautiful and quiet yet still close to everything in town. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the creek and sat in Adirondack chairs next to it for morning coffee. Bill the host was very accommodating and gave great advice for where to go. He has owned the house since 1989 and has great knowledge of the island. 10/10!!

Nothing, everything was great!

It did not feel like I was in the hotel but more like I was at the friends house. Loved the bathroom, comfortable bed, unlimited coffee. Great location. Warm hospitality.

Picturesque. Right on the creek. Shelter Island is a beautiful place to drive and walk around. Experience of the hotel owner was extremely friendly and relaxed as was the atmosphere

There was no breakfast. Just instant coffee.

When checking out and settling my bill the proprietor jacked up the price so I PAID for Booking.com's fee not him! The place is a ripoff and the proprietor is a thief!

Just outside the front door were two Adirondack chairs creek side. Idyllic. Also house was walking distance to small group of shops and restaurants. Host was friendly.

Only comment would be that the Window AC/fan wasn’t quite cool enough

Fan and refrigerator in the room didn’t work. Coffee bar needed attention. Staff did not always respond well to questions and requests.
