Disrepair, beds very old and uncomfortable

Loved the location and the quaintness of the hotel surroundings and the pool and the bar proximity.

Unfortunately both of our beds were saggy mine was outright broken, and the toilet seat was broken and never stayed on the toilet

There were bugs in the master bedroom twice that made it unsleepful and there were bugs in the guest bathroom all over the counter

The room was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The pool and hot tub are nice. Short walk to a very nice beach. Affordable price. The hotel has a lot of character that's missing at other accommodations on the island.

Parking can be a challenge. There are a few spaces behind and in front of the hotel, but they fill up fast, and there's not a lot of street parking. Always found a place to put the truck in the end, though.

Our stay was great. I really enjoyed that this was a space for adults only. The room was clean and tidy. Staff was super welcoming and pleasant. This will be my go to when returning to the island.

The staff was extremely nice and friendly, from the moment we arrived until we departed, the rooms were very clean I would recommend Upper Deck to anyone this is one of the best places I have stayed in SPI.

Everything was perfect, when we arrived, we even got a tour of the place and they offer chairs and coolers if you would like to borrow and go sit 3min away to the island.

Everything was so cute and clean. I loved the retro feel. We really liked that it’s 18 and over. The staff was all so friendly, and there was a fun entertainer in the evening. It’s nice that there’s a bar/restaurant on the property too.

The uniqueness of this hotel. It is cute and quirky and has a LOT of potential. The front-desk staff were knowledgeable and appeared to care deeply about the hotel and its development. The maintenance guy was responsive. The bedding and some of the amenities (such as the retro appliances) were cute.

The condition of my room. There was a bunch of hair in the bathtub drain. The tub could not be used as a tub. There was a smear of some groos-looking brown substance on bathroom's doorframe (blood? snot?). The towels were thread-bare and had holes in them. Insufficient working outlets. and.. please, do not stack a microwave on top of the mini-fridge. It just looks tacky. OMG- and the music! Holy moly was the guy loud! Poor thing never took a break from singing to a karaoke machine for 3 hours! I took a walk to get away from the decibels and could hear him on the other side of the block! Honestly, I wish managers of venues would realize that louder is NOT better and that people do like to talk to each other.
