Location and price, however we got what we paid for, very rundown facilities.

The facility was very rundown and lacking in staff. We asked for extra towels for our since we figured it would be easier for us and staff to not have service daily. We got third sets of towels, and no floor mat. There were no toiletries, such as complementary shampoo, conditioner, and soap. I had to call down several times to get a blow dryer. The kitchenette had two forks, two knives, and a few serving utensils, with only one cup for coffee, one cup for drinking water and a few plates. I had to wait close to 30 minutes to check out because the front desk was not manned. There was absolutely no one in the front desk, the front office, the laundry facilities, which was wide, open the food area, which had a cart of linens. Apparently someone was folding the linens in the dining area, there was a sign on the desk that said pardon that they weren’t there they were assisting a guest elsewhere. When the person finally showed up, she told me that she was very sorry, but she was cleaning up from people checking out to me. To me it seems that the hotel is very understaffed.  I took several videos, but I am unable to attach it because you only allow for photographs.

I enjoyed my visit as did my wife. The cafeteria was excellent as well. I’ll stay at other MainStay hotels in the future.

Everything

The location was great since we were there for a baseball tournament. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was excellent even though they were short staffed. Breakfast was great with lots of choices both hot and cold.

the fact that there is still a $370 hold on my money and it’s been there since Friday. I was told it would come off after 24 hours but it didn’t.
