Friendly Staff, location was great walking distance from Pike place market and many restaurants. Very clean, food at restaurant was great beautiful bar with a view.
Trash was not emptied out daily. Room service was not available at night. Only one elevator was working and there was a long wait for the elevator.

The hotel itself, and the service were exceptional, along with the location. The rooftop is amazing. One of my favorite rooftops anywhere. I will not stay anywhere else in Seattle.

The Thompson is a gem in downtown Seattle. The customer service they provide is exceptional. Valet is always prompt. The location is fabulous and their rooftop bar The Nest is the perfect place to end your evening.
I can’t find anything about the property I didn’t like.

Our room was in a location that was quiet - some hotel rooms always seem to have noisy hallways or adjoining rooms, this was nice and it stayed quiet even with the room attendants taking care of their responsibilities.
When I made the reservations, somehow the booking site put my guest as the individual reserving the room, so we had to go through several more steps when we arrived before being able to go up to our room.

Great location right next to Pike Place!
The rug in the room that was under both queen beds would not lay flat. We kept tripping over it the entire time we had the room. Was super frustrating.. and would have been dangerous if we were older.

Location was great. Staff was friendly. Beds were very comfortable.
We booked the hotel for the rooftop bar and beautiful view from it. When we arrived, we were told it was closed for construction. NO WHERE on the website or in the multiple texts sent from the property were we warned of this. The restaurant and bar were also closed 2 out of the 3 nights we were there. This information should have been provided upon booking.

prior to trip attempted to contact property in numerous ways (via booking.com, text & email) but no response back to discuss arranging something special for honeymoon however soon as we arrived we were well looked after
