Upon arrival, the door was locked and we had to call someone to open the Motel. (The temperature was in the 90,s) A young lady showed up 10 minutes later with the WRONG keys and we had to wait for another person to bring them) We could have had a bed that wasn't hard as a rock and lumpy, and an air conditioner that did not ROAR all night ( I am hearing impaired and was not wearing my hearing aids and was awake most of the night), a shower that did not have a few hairs in it, a towel bar that would hold a bath sized towel, a shelf over the sink to put my shaving gear etc. Screen in the Bathroom window that did not have holes in it, so we could open the window for fresh air at night due to the noise described from the AC. A chair that was CLEAN. This one is Filthy. As there was only one other couple (our friends) staying there, they could have offered to change our room. Clean up all the dead insects (roaches) outside the door. (I was told they were June bugs and they were swept up soon after I mentioned them). Overall, the room was so small that we could not move around without bumping into one another. It should only be rented to a single person. AS there is not enough space available in the next section. and due to the conditions above we would like to ask for a REFUND for the day not used! I did take a few photos, but am not computer literate enough to know how to put them here.

Easy to find. Evening staff was nice. Location of installed a/c was not optimal.

Sheets were gross, the room felt dirty, the bathroom was small and the hot water in the shower kept fluctuating in temperature, there was also not much of a breakfast.

Breakfast was not available until after 8 am...which was way too late for us to get it. Never been to a hotel/motel which wouldn't provide any breakfast before 8 am...and they didn't provide coffee for the coffee makers in the rooms either! What good is a coffee maker without coffee??

Front desk had limited service hours, but even during the posted service hours, most of the time personal were gone and lobby was locked saying they were "temporarily away".

Was very pleased to be "upgraded" to a room at the sister motel due to the snow storm. The upgrade meant I got a bigger bed, a king instead of queen. Overall, the receptionist was very friendly and kind and hospitable.

I understand that there was a blizzard in the middle of Maine but my original booking was upgraded because the motel parking lot was not plowed and so the receptionist couldn't even make it up the small hill to the building. I don't know if plows weren't available but what about the current customers staying there?! What if there were no more rooms available at the sister motel? The sister motel parking lot was also not plowed. There was a good 6-8 inches of snow and it was a good thing I had a SUV with AWD. Even then I had a hard time maneuvering out of my parking spot to drive down to my room after I checked in. I'm curious why no plow was scheduled or arranged. I also had to borrow a shovel from some other guests to shovel the walkway in front of my room! I was lucky they were outside at the same time as me to lend me their shovel. Not sure if it was the motels or not. On another note, room overall could be cleaner. It was not Hyatt or Hilton but the bathroom made me want to wear socks in the shower.
