Wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade zur King-Suite erhalten, nachdem der Check-In chaotisch war:
Die ersten Zimmerschlüssel mussten wir nach 2 Minuten wieder zurück geben .. da es dann doch noch nicht fertig war.
Im zweiten Zimmer sind wir dann kurz "eingezogen".. bis die Dame der Rezeption ganz aufgeregt kam um uns mitzuteilen, dass das Zimmer belegt sei .. haben uns schon gewundert, dass noch ein Koffer und Schuhe im Zimmer waren...
Das dritte Zimmer war dann auch nicht fertig
... so dass wir dann als viertes Zimmer die Suite (als Entschädigung) bekamen ..
.. die war dann tatsächlich frei und sauber/fertig...
Das Chaos beim Check-In aufgrund interner Kommunikationsprobleme zw. dem Service-Personal und der Rezeption.

I liked how it was located close to places to eat and grocery stores.
the hotel as a whole was a little dirty. the pool was dirty. the rooms smelled funny. the second night the shower wouldn’t get hot.

the floors were soooo thin that any noise our boys made the downstairs person could hear. we have a crawler which made it even worse. our 3,2,1 year old boys had to stay sitting on the couch or the bed majority of our stay there. and they didn’t have any rooms on the first floor

BEWARE: the pool was as warm as the hot tub...comfortable for us but I'd be concerned for small children...Hot Tub steps were VERY slippery..

24/7 coffee available. Nice little cardio gym and a few dumbbells available as well.

location was good. Pool and hot tub were really nice — non-chlorine smelling.
Breakfast was decent, especially the house-made sausage gravy.
Evening front desk clerk was very unfriendly and seemed irritated. Owner needs to spend some money on maintenance if they are going to charge $100+ per night. My room phone did not work. nor one bedside lamp. Entry door had large side gap and tub spout was about to fall off the wall and dripping. Towels were old and stringy and there was a lot of things on the floor from previous tenant.

There weren't a lot of options so opted for the waffle. It's was good. Coffee was fine too.
One of the items was a mystery. I had no clue what it was and it didn't look appetizing so opted out on that. Bacon was closer to raw than crispy so didn't eat any. Wasn't much of a selection.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. I really appreciated the kindness and how helpful they were. . My family and I enjoyed our stay and would like to send a big thank you to the owner and all the staff who cared and welcomed us. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through big spring texas.

staff was rude, made rude remarks.
poor customer service.
was told they didn’t have blankets when we asked for them, so my grandfather was freezing all night.
front desk worker made some remark to my grandfather that was so rude, he wouldn’t even tell us what was said to him. he was very upset. WE WILL NOT BOOK HERE AGAIN.

There is no access to pool and is summer. The breakfast is up to 9am, to early for us. At 9:03am almost everything was cleaned in the breakfast area. Disappointed

Bed was comfortable
Sheets on bed looked dirty and bath tube faucet was dripping the entire time. The breakfast food was cold.

Veronica the manager was exceptional.
The door to my room didn't latch closed so you didn't even need a key to get into my room. Also the towel in the bathroom had something on it

It was clean.
The ice machine didn't work and when we talked to staff about it, they did not care and did not provide any alternative. Also cleaning staff knocked at 8:30 to see if we where checking out. We also only had luke warm water in the shower.
