Updated. Clean. very friendly service.

At check-in, which was contactless and worked well, we noticed that the bed was dirty in several places. After a phone call the hostess immediately took care and sent an employee over, we got a free upgrade to the suite! When we moved into the suite, the employee did a cleanliness check and said that everything was clean - we trusted her and that was our mistake, because after she left again, we noticed that this bed was also dirty (even worse than in the room before). We then wrote to the hostess again, this time we were told that there was a spare bed sheet in the closet - but this one was also dirty. We were assured that cleanliness was a top priority - but it couldn't be, because even the floor was extremely dirty. A look at the photo attached with my previously new (!!!) white sneaker socks says it all - these were so dirty that I had to throw them away afterwards. Conclusion: The hostess was initially very helpful and the free upgrade was very nice. However, for the much too high price even for the standard room, you should expect a minimum of cleanliness - so we advise to give this accommodation a wide berth.

Nice friendly staff, tidy and convenient.

Honestly, the noise level was like sleeping on top of highway 101 and I could hear the smallest sound from the parking lot. I had to leave and stay at another hotel.

Lovely hotel close to dinosaur cave park and only a few few meters away from the coast. The manageress was very friendly. I would recommend this to anyone visiting SLO County. It was very clean and had a good nights sleep.

Parking was hard for bigger trucks but not that big of a deal.

the property has recently had a renovation and it’s beautiful. Its very cosy and lots of lovely furnishings. we arrived after 7 so there was no water in our room. The app to open the door was very handy.

The noise. There was really loud music playing until late and then we could also fully hear the movie playing on the tv in the room beside us. Ear plugs are supplied.

- location: beautiful mountains as soon as you step outside your door. - Sara was really helpful and had really good communication. supplying us with everything you need. - rooms are well decorated and bed is comfortable. - room had nice touches like a book shelf, board games, microwave popcorn, hot chocolate, coffee, towels, make up wipes, the list goes on. really thoughtful items. - coupons given: had one of the best breakfasts of our holiday at Zorro’s. we wouldn’t have known about it if Shell beach didn’t share the coupon. coupon for the store next door too and everyone there was so lovely and polite. - pool available - shower had good pressure
