Beds, location and the hot tub.

Stairs...very vertical and the hand holds not very trustworthy.

The cabin was just like it was in the photos. 1. Check in / check out arrangement was easy 2. Great location for visiting the porcupine mountains / Hougton... 3. Clean and spacious with a fully equpped kitchen (including some basic oil, sauces...etc) 4. Hot tub ! Very relaxing even for a summer day

1. There is a pile of old tourist brochures / maps ...etc probably left over by previous visitors on the TV console. Some dated way back to 2017 and many of them are dusty / dirty (e.g. with mud stains). 2. The external paint was starting to peel off

Everything about Mittenwald was amazing. It is not only very comfy and cozy, but they have it incredible well stocked. They have bedding (including pillows), spices and oil for cooking, fully stocked kitchenware, extra shampoo/conditioner/body wash, honestly anything you'd ever need for a comfortable stay. Tracy was very kind and attentive to any questions we had. We didn't arrive until late, and she had turned the lights on for us, turned the A/C on, and even turned some music on. It felt like coming home! We will certainly want to stay again sometime! It is also a 15 minute drive to Lake Superior, and along that 15 minute drive there are a slew of scenic viewing areas to look out over a variety of water falls. It is also a 10 minute walk to the ski slopes, and you can see the lifts from Mittenwald's front windows, so it would be worth a stay in the winter!

Honestly, nothing. The only thing I can think of is that it could use a deadbolt lock. Otherwise, seriously such a great stay and great location.

Location was stunning! Very clean and supplied with everything you could ever need. From the moment we opened the door we felt at home....definitely will be coming back time and again!

I honestly cannot think of a bad word to say about our stay with Mittenwald.
