Privacy and quiet neighborhood. Access to beach and the area on the rocks to sit and enjoy a close up of the water.

Only one garbage can.

The location was perfect! The house is a located "behind" and between 2 other houses so the view of the beach and ocean are not blocked at all. It was hard for me to tell that from the pics online. We spent a good deal of time on the screened porch just watching the water, I'm pretty sure most all of us napped on the couch out there at some point, 😆. Two of the 3 bedrooms have beautiful views of the ocean. I loved lounging on the bed and still being able to enjoy the view. The house is bright and open and very well decorated. The tide goes out so far that there are lots of areas to explore. We saw tons of hermit crabs with big and small shells, and a lot of star fish too. There is a private boardwalk attached to the housethat takes you straight to the beach. We saw very few people the whole time we were there. We went the end of April 2022, but even if every house around us had been booked solid it still would have felt secluded and private. We usually spend a week on Hitlon Head Island, but it has gotten so crowded that we feel like everyone is stacked on top of each other. That is NOT the case on Harbor Island. I was there with my mother & father-in-law, now im trying to talk my family into making this our next family vacay, lol. I could go on and on about how much we loved our stay, the house made us feel at home, and I cant wait to go back! We will DEFINITELY be back to Harbor Island and for sure stay in this house, it was just beautiful, clean, and cozy!

If I have to find something negative, I would say the bushes in the front could use a good trimming they do block some of the view.
