the location, the house and the outside area with large balcony and the beautiful buganville, the upper floor and ambience of the house was very nice. all rooms had AC and toilets. communication with Niki was easy and fast, she was very kind.

For adult groups like us, 2 rooms with bunkbeds were kinda narrow, downstairs there was a strong humidity smell. there were no mosquito-nets on the windows, so it was not possible to leave them open. generally downstairs wasnt so comfortable and clean as upstairs.

Location in ASOS was great. We were just one couple with a young baby so plenty of room for us, if we were two couples with kids then it would have been perfect. Although the upstairs bedrooms were a bit loud in the morning if someone wakes up early and wants to prepare breakfast it is very loud as you’re right next to the kitchen. The pool is lovely and the view is beautiful. You can relax by the pool and look out over the castle. A very relaxing spot. Also the house is fully equipped, kitchen is well stocked, lots of towels and linen and plenty of space.

Although it wasn’t a problem for us, if you are not good with stairs or carrying your bags up hills and up stairs then this place could be tricky for you. Also, the host was a bit disorganized. It wasn’t really a problem for us but the house wasn’t ready for our arrival (bathrooms hadn’t been cleaned) and even though we agreed upon a later checkout, the host came to clean at 10am and we weren’t ready to leave. It made our whole morning stressful and rushed as we had planned to leave (as agreed the day before) at 12pm. We have a young baby so packing up and morning nap time was completely disrupted. Also, the feeling of privacy wasn’t there as the host just opened the doors to the villa unannounced two days in a row.

The location is just exceptional... the village of Asos is the place to be!
