Breakfast was copious and delicious, the pool is beautiful. Bathroom very clean and the staff were accommodating, kind and helpful

pool was absolutely freezing and filthy, full of bugs and a film formed over the top. disappointing as we’d chosen this hotel for the pool and it was completely unusable and cost substantially more than others

The staff were really friendly and approachable. The room, the bathroom and the bed all super comfortable. The view from the pool was also spectacular and there was parking. The breakfast and WiFi were excellent too

I really cannot thing of anything major. Maybe for a 4 star hotel it would have been nice to have a little gift in the room or a small touch like that, but the bottles of water were really appreciated.

At 10PM on there was no available staff. Room decor was outdated and likely a refresh would be beneficial. Parking lot was full upon return in the evening making it a bit of a challenge to park in a designated spot.

No dinner available, delicious meal at local restaurant 5 mins walk down but very steep hill to climb on the way back to the Hotel. However we could have driven down. Only two restaurants & no bars open in the area in November.

Blau Mar is an excellent hotel, situated above Lla Franc beachfront and a 10-minute walk. One can also walk easily along a coastal path with glorious views to calella, which has more restaurants but the beach in lla franc is bigger and better.. The hotel has good sized rooms and most have a decent sized balcony with good views of the sea. Breakfast is good, largely continental, with one cooked option, which was always egg and bacon. The staff are very helpful and always willing to provide additional tea/coffee as well as info on the area. When my wife and I stayed it was largely couples. One really needs a car to get around and the hotel is certainly a good base for seeing the surrounding area or simply relaxing by the pool or down at the beach, although it is a stiff climb for older people from Lla franc back up to the hotel

Perhaps an alternative cooked meal. The area is expensive generally, although the food in the various restaurants is generally very good.

View amazing, breakfast was very good, the room was very good with great balcony, the staff were very relaxed and spoke very good English

Nothing really, the walk back from the town is a little steep so wear good shoes

The rooms & the hotel in general is old. For some degree, it brings a retro feel, but it also reflects to the comfort. Beds are old, bathroom has the bare minimum in terms of toilettaries. Definitely over priced for what they offer

we had a ground floor walk out room that had small loose river rock patio which was hard to walk on without shoes/sandals. artificial turf would have been more comfortable.
