We really enjoyed being out of way and off the beaten path. We were able to come and go knowing we weren't going to be intruding on anybody else. And once we were back for the evening, it was very quiet and peaceful. Being able to do laundry on site was fantastic! We didn't have to allocate "vacation time" to run into town to use a laundromat. Having access to a grill to use was also a nice touch.
A dedicated workspace/desk would have been appreciated, but this was not a deal breaker by any means.

Everything! The comfort of the guesthouse floored me. It was clean with beautiful furnishings and a lovely bathroom/bedroom/kichenette.
My only criticism is that we arrived late in the evening and the property was a bit hard to locate. A bigger address or landmark/description would be great!!

Great location. Very peaceful and quiet. Great facilities. The owner was awesome. Very responsive, generous and kind. Highly recommend if you are looking for accommodation near Eagle River, Alaska.

We loved this property. It was clean, well equipped, and had a beautiful view of the mountain outside our window.
Parking was a bit cramped and it would have been nice to have a place to sit outside and enjoy a fireside. Using Booking.com shows picture of all guesthouse units which make it nearly impossible to know what unit you will be getting.

Absolutely beautiful home with all the creature comforts amid a majestic mountain setting close to Eagle River Nature Centre. Very friendly host. Our room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Richard was awesome from the moment we landed. This was my 1st stay at a lodging that wasn't a hotel and I was super impressed. The house was comfortable, very clean, and felt like a home. Even with all that, Cooper by far was the best part of Eagle Peak. Make sure to give him all the pets he wants!
