Parking a little tight in the main lot. Very basic continental breakfast but restaurants nearby.

Very comfortable bed with nice linen.

I could not change the shower nozzle which is a nuisance when trying to wash long hair.

The proximity to the downtown area was its best attribute, although that part felt a little less secure than other places nearby. The price was good and it was clean, with a comfortable bed.

GPS kept sending us to places nearby when we were trying to find it at first. Anyone could climb the stairs and be at your door with the outside doors and even when going through the lobby, 3 out of four times there was no one at the desk. We did not feel as secure as at most places we've stayed.

Love the location of this hotel, especially for the room rate. We brought our dogs along, and they were welcomed at the hotel as well!

Dated property in need of some updating. Mattress is cheap / quite hard. Carpet in room is pretty gross.

My partner and I were amazed at how clean it was. Most ppl associate outdated buildings and reasonable low prices with less clean facilities. That is not the case here. Kudos to the housekeeping staff for not cutting corners and as a person who was in the cleaning business for years I know what to look for. We asked for a room on the 5th floor on the west side to catch the sunset and it did not disappoint. The beds were comfy, room had a small fridge and microwave which are a huge plus for foodies who come back with leftovers in a town known for its variety in cuisine. I would stay again and recommend this place to anyone with a budget but expecting a clean pillow to rest their head on.

Pillows were oddly small and the door access scanner on the side of the building was broken. Very inconvenient In negative degree weather and the quickest way to your room is having bc access to the side elevator.

Best location and price! Walked everywhere in center. Closest hopp on/off trolley station is 3 min walk. Staff is very friendly and rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is enough for little start in the morning. Best choice to stay in Asheville.
