The place was clean and nothing else to be impressed.

Came downstairs for breakfast and took very long to be served as well the employees show up late. It was not impressive to see courtyard Marriott like in this poor level.

Parking: needed more Handicapped parking spots. Needed free breakfast to make this a perfect stay

this is where we love to stay when visiting El Cajon because we have family near and its convenient and a beautiful hotel

when we were checking in the gentleman wanted me to pay with my credit card and I told him it was already paid back in September-he asked me to open my bank account and show him the payment-even though I had a copy of the reservation printed and it showed paid and the last 4 digits of the credit card. We were very disappointed because it was a trip for our 20th wedding anniversary - we actually had our wedding reception at the Marriott Mission Valley but could not book the dates we wanted at that particular Marriott so we came to El Cajon- so we are long time coming to Marriott but I don't feel that I ever want to go back as the man at reception didn't believe me and had me stand there to pull up my bank account in front of people -it was embarrassing- also I am 60 years old -my husband is 70 - we are not very good on our phones with banking- we were so happy to check in and start celebrating our anniversary weekend to then have this happen- it spoiled it so much for me - the worst part was even after he called the manager and they did see where we paid - because we paid via a third party we were made to feel inferior---- It really ruined it for me and I have been so excited. He did not apologize and kept pointing out that we booked through a third party. I CALLED this hotel while making the Booking back in SEPTEMBER and the rate was about 60 dollars more that on the third-party website which of course is why I booked with them. We are retired - the 2 nights was 464.00 as it was --- the last thing is that we were also not told that the room wouldn't be cleaned - it's done only every 2 days - we feel embarrassed and upset even when paying top dollar for our room which was not cleaned and we had to ask for more towels--all of which wouldn't have mattered if the gentleman had apologized or at least showed some sorrow for embarrassing us in front of others.

Amazing atmosphere, front seek staff was super friendly and helpful, room was amazingly clean and organized.

Would of liked better rates but still was worth the price and experience.

The night staff were very unfriendly. They kicked my kids out of the pool because a racist guest made a complaint. My kids are different races.

The property was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was fully stock with soaps, towels and smelled good.

Both are excellent

One staff member at the front desk almost ruined our entire stay by being rude and unable to listen to the needs of the guest. The management was able to make up for her shortcomings.

i think it should have at least a continental free breakfast.

Room was spacious, clean, and there was a Starbucks across the street and the Cajon PD which made me feel safe to be in the area.

When I booked the room, I thought a continental breakfast was included. Breakfast was $10/per person, and not really great. Also the tv in the room only had 40 channels, no Spanish channels which I thought was a bit odd.

Breakfast at your bistro is always great. I do wish you had STARBUCKS cold blended drinks, however the hot drinks are great.
